Best time to go Dec 7-13or 13-20

For a lighter crowd is it better to go Dec 7-13 or 13-20. We want to stay at WL and it really doesn't make a difference on the weeks other than trying to avoid crowds. Which week is better?

The 13th to 20th. The Christmas crowds will start coming in that weekend....The 7th to the 13th is Pop Warner week......

But it's our honeymoon. The 14th starts holiday pricing I believe, so that's something also to consider. Yeap Pop Warner will be there from the 6th-13th, but unless you're staying in a Pop Warner approved resort, I don't think it'll be a problem.

I was going to say the same thing. I know the kids don't stay at the deluxes, but they can be a pain in the parks if there's a bunch of them together.

I would probably say the 7th to the 13th. My sister was there this past Dec and said by the 18th it was NUTS. PW can be a pain in the parks, I've experienced that, but I wouldn't want hour to two hour waits at pretty much everything either. Could you possibly go the week before the 7th? That would probably be optimal. Just a thought....

We are going the 14-20 because of Pop Warner crowds the week before. I don't think you have to worry about holiday crowds until the weekend of the 20/21st because Christmas isn't until Wednesday/Thursday the following week. We have frequently gone that week before the holiday, coming home the weekend before the holiday. Yes, we can see the crowds increasing that weekend, but still not crazy and we've already been to all the parks by then and are getting ready to leave on Saturday or Sunday.

Thanks so much. We have a AAA room only on hold from the 13-20 and only have to pay the holiday rate the 19th as we would check out on the 20th. Any other thoughts are welcomed. Didn't realize Pop Warner brought so many into the parks.

We have gone the 13th to 20th the past 2 years. 2007 was significantly more crowded than 2006. 2008 starts holiday pricing earlier than the 2 previous years. You will be good the 13, 14 and 15 for sure. We normally didn't see crowds until the last 2 days- -- both years on the 20th, MK was especially crowded -- from noon on.

That said, we are going the 7th-14th this year -- I know Pop Warner - but I got a code for that week. We're going with an open mind.
