I know Im going to get a billion different answers but Im hoping some of you will bring out ideas I havent thought of so far. For several years we have gone to Disney World in September. However, with hurricanes and intense heat we were thinking of changing. I know alot of it depends on crowds too but am I missing something? Otherwise Im trying to convince my husband to just keep our trip to September like always. Id much rather survive the weather than have to fight a sea of people.

The choices we have right now are:
1. September 6-13
2. September 27-Oct 4
3. October 25-Nov 1
4. November 29-Dec 6

The week after Labor Day has been the least busy week of the year for several years now.

Edit: sorry I misread your post. The last week of September will be a little busier, the other two will be full-on moderate crowds.

If you would rather survive the weather vs sea of people I would definitely pick Sept 6-13.

I think all 4 of those choices are great times to go. Options 3 and 4 may be busier than options 1 and 2, but I have been that last week October and found the crowds low to moderate. I have also been in early December and certainly did not find the parks particularly busy. I agree that it would be fun and a nice change to try the holiday festivities and cooler weather. You can always go back to visiting the world in September, but why not try something new?

Last year was the first time we went end of August/early September, and crowd wise it was the best trip we ever had. We were there during the Star Wars opening though, so that might have skewed things because I’m pretty sure for at least some of our trip everyone was just at DHS. Plus there was the hurricane, so I do think in some ways crazy weather like that can help in terms of crowds. But the crowds were so great on that trip it made us want to try September again lol. We’ve also been a couple times in early December and I think that time of year probably had the second lowest crowds we’ve ever seen, so my vote would either be for your first or last choices.

We had a string of years pre-real school where we went around that first week of September. I miss those days. Very hot, but one of the true lower crowd times during the year.
