Best time to eat TS before MVMCP?

We were thinking of eating at Tony's Town Square the night we go to MVMCP. Should we eat when they open for dinner at 4:30? Or should we eat closer to 6 o'clock to be done by 7 for the party? Please advise....

I think the perfect time is around 5:30-5:45. Then you are out of there just as the party is starting. Any later and you might miss a little bit and you don't want to miss any of it. Too early and you'll be herded into Tomorrowland or Frontierland with everyone else. I just don't like that part for some reason.

Glad to hear 5:30p is a good time. We have ADRs for that time on Tues., Dec. 5th, it was the earliest that was available when I called.

I'm a big fan of eating as close to 6:00 as possible. That way you'll be eating during the herding time. The lines are practically empty between 5 and 6, so I'd make the most of that time. We ate at 6 for both MNSSHP and MVMCP and it was perfect.

Yes...5:30-6:00 ADR's are perfect for MVMCP...that way you can almost come right out of dinner and the party is starting.

Got a confirmed ADR for 5:45, so I think this will work out great.

The last 2 times we went we ate at CP around 4:45 or so but this time are going to AK in the morning, have dinner at Boma at 4:30 and head over to MK for the party. I was worried that this is not going to give me enough time but I will still make the parade and the fireworks, I am not worried about getting on any rides I just want to take in all the Christmas stuff lol

I booked Park Fare dinner for 4:30 and figured we could check out the Grand Floridian decorations while we are there and then head over to the party. This is our first time going to the party and not really sure what to expect but am really excited!
