Best time to camp

Best time to camp at The Fort . . .
. . . January thru March
. . . April thru June
. . . July thru August
. . . September thru December

Best time to camp depends on each persons point of view,
my opinion is it's best anytime you can afford too, anytime you can. :thumbsup2

January-rates are much cheaper. Much Cooler too.

November (Thanksgiving week)-rates are cheaper than Christmas and you can see all the decorations.

Mid-August through September and beginning of October-rates are better.

Holidays: rates are higher but the extra fun makes it great. 4th of July (golf cart parade), Thanksgiving (the teepees are in the group camping), Christmas (a given), Halloween...just to name a few.
:cheer2:

The best time for us to camp is anytime between mid-Feb. - mid-Dec. minus any and all holidays, and Sept. (main hurricane month) ;) Don't like the chance for cold, nor do I 'do' large crowds.

Actually, to answer your question, it's really a personal preference. We all have our opinions. :)

When is the best time to camp at Disney?

As the others said, nbcarolinagirl, that's a little subjective.

What makes one time the BEST time?

- the best weather?
- the lowest rates?
- the smallest crowds?
- a specific time of year?

There are different answers for each one of the above or combo thereof. So how would you come? In a tent, trailer, or RV? Are you bound by a school calendar or work calendar? What type of the 4 sites would you want to get? Would you come for only a few days or could you put in a full week at the Fort?

Give us a few more details and these folks will be glad to help you out!
