Is there a better time of day that would give you the most opportunity to get a room you are looking for. I am not talking at the seven or eleven month window. I am talking for resorts that are full up.
We had to move our summer trip due to all the fr&&#!@g blizzards up here in Maryland. We are trying for a one bedroom at any resort besides OKW or SSR. (Just went to SSR last month and we don't have a car so OKW sounds really inconvenient). Anyways I have a waitlist for AKV Kidani Savanah and BWV Preferred/Garden view. I assume those are the largest resorts (other than OKW and SSR) and views that might come up. But we would take any category that comes up or even a two bedroom, but unfortunately you can only waitlist for two things.
I was just wondering if there is a time when they cancel rooms say at night or is it an immediate update when there is a cancellation. They say they check for our waitlist once a day, but does that mean a room that matches our waitlist could come up, but we won't get it if they aren't looking for it at that moment?
Anyone know? Thanks
