Hi folks. My wife and I are going to Disney World on February 2-8 of 2014. We were wondering if anyone had any idea as to the best time to book our resort stay. We are either staying at POFQ or Coronado Springs. Is it worth the risk of places filling up to wait until the winter to see if there's a perk like a free dining plan? If not, when would you book? Thanks everyone!!

I'm going towards the end of February and already booked my room(about a month ago). If a discount comes out you can always call and they can apply it. I would do it now, so you at least have what you want.

If you are going regardless of whether or not a discount comes out, I'd book now to make sure you get the resort/room type you want. If your trip is dependent on a discount, I'd wait to see what discounts (if any) are offered for your time frame. If you book now and a discount comes out for your dates/resort, you can have the discount applied to your existing reservation (provided there is availability under the promo). Sometimes you have to be flexible with your resort/room type in order to take advantage of a discount as having a reservation already in place does not guarantee a discount can be applied. Good luck :).

I vote now too. :lmao: Many of us were anxiously awaiting July 10th when the 2014 packages were released so we could book our trips. Is there a benefit to booking right away? Probably not, but there is just something about having that confirmation number. :goodvibes

I'm looking at Feb 6-12 for next year and I'm going to have to do something soon because my 180+10 date is August 10! That's something to keep in mind if you have any hard-to-get ADRs you want. Also, if you book now and a better deal comes out later, you can always call back and change things.

(Oh, by the way, I stayed at POFQ for the first time this year and really liked it! It's much smaller than the other mods, pretty and charming and easy to get around.)

I say now also. We booked on July 10th for Feb. 14-23rd, CSR, & already no preferred rooms were available.....................

We are going from 2/8/14 to 2/15/14 and booked on July 10 when the rates came out. There really is no drawback in booking now, deals will be released (most likely) ahead of when you need your package to be paid off, so you can just call in and apply whatever discounts get advertised to you or the public.

The only reason to not book now would be if you're not 100% sure you're going. ADRs for that time frame are coming up (we're 200 days out, and since you're talking a little earlier time wise, yours would be even closer) so you can go ahead and get that process started too.

Enjoy your trip!
