Howdy Folks!

We are booked on the Disney Cruise for March Break next year.:cool1: I am researching our flights from Toronto to Los Angeles and wondering when we should book.

I am hoping to fly direct from YYZ to LAX as we are tight with our timelines and a Buffalo flight would be too lengthy with the drive home etc...

It looks like our options are: United/Air Canada or American Airlines.

Do you have any tips on when we should be booking the airfare? Right now it's $590 return per person. It kills me to pay this much since we always get great deals with South West or Air Tran out of Buffalo.

Ideas anyone?!

Thank you so much!

It's probably way too early to book, unless you see a seat sale. There's no logic to it, but I have noticed good fares seem to appear about 4 months out. Consider also flying into SNA (Orange County). It is farther from the port, but Air Canada has only just started non-stops from Toronto and you may find better deals on that run. I also heard Virgin is flying from Toronto to LAX, so that may be another option. Also, you probably already know this, but it is a good idea to fly in a day early for a cruise, just in case of airline delays. The ship doesn't wait. HTH.

I would keep an eye for seat sales though at March Break the odds might be slim. As the previous poster mentioned, I would also fly in the day prior. Anything can happen to delay you and the Ship will indeed not wait..:confused3

I wouldn't count on finding any kind of seat sale out of Pearson especially during March break which is peak travel season. This is why with a family of 5 we always fly out of Buffalo, Rochester, Pittsburgh or Detroit.

I 2nd flying in 1 day early. I have had 2 separate friends run into problems (1 weather & 1 plane problems) & lost 2-3 days of their cruise because they missed the departure & had to catch up with the ship at a port in the Caribbean.
