When is the absolute best time to arrive at the port??

We would like to minimize our wait time with two little ones.

We will be at the Radisson the night before ... so it will not be a problem to get there whenver.

Thanks.

If you want to take part in the "Ressies Scramble"... the race to get the best Palo reservations and the best spa reservations, then you'd want to arrive at the terminal soon after it opens so you can check in early and get a good place in line. It's really not that big a deal for the kids... only one person needs to stand in line to hold the place for the entire family. There is a lounge area with TV's showing cartoons, so the time passes quickly.

If you're not interested in the Ressies Scramble, then you could leave the Radisson around 12:30 or 1:00 and be onboard fairly quickly... still with plenty of time to spare.

We took turns waiting in the boarding line as did many others. You just put down all your carryons in line, and one parent can go with the kids to the restroom, to see characters in the lobby, to see the model of the ship, or to watch cartoons on cushioned chairs on one side of the terminal. The kids were so exited there was no complaining! They kept checking back to see if we were boarding. If you wait until after 1, you probably will hardly have to wait at all. We boarded around 12:15. Have a great time!

We just got back from the 3/23 Magic (!). We arrived at the port at 11. I would have preferred to get there a few minutes earlier, but as a practical matter, we were still in the first 40 families to board. As WendyandGoofy said, we got in line and without fail, someone needed to use the bathroom, someone wanted to go meet Goofy etc., so we were not actually sitting in line for al lthat long -- we boarded around 12:15. Most people sit on the remarkably clean floor. Many families had decks on cards out or coloring books or gameboys. Little stuff like that might help pass the time for your kids! Have a great trip! :D

My vote would be to get to the terminal by 11:00 am. We arrived at 10:40 and check in was a breeze. Also, DD got to explore the terminal, meet quite a few kids and just explore. The time flew and before we knew it we were on the ship. We were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch before heading out to make reservations. Husband went to make Palo ressies and headed to the spa to make those ressies. It really wasn't hectic at all.

Wdw, I sent you a message (just in case your like me and forget to check :) ).
