Best time of year to visit DLP?

I am exploring the idea of traveling to DLP with my family as part of a European trip in the future. In thinking about when we would go, It occurred to me that I know nothing about the weather or the crowds!

I would love some advice about when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are most reasonable. Please share your insight with me!

If you want to avoid the crowns then weekdays during UK and European term times are your best bet (we can help you find more details about that if you narrow down when you plan to visit). If you want the best weather in term time then you'll need to visit in May, June or September. Having said that, the weather is by no means guaranteed. We were there in May last year and we had a mix of heavy rain and hot sunshine!

We were there late may last yr and had fab weather 25-28c , we were in the outside pools every day. We have also been in June and the same my aunt even got sun burnt!! But i know some of the regular posters on here have got alot of rain in those mth so it really is the luck of the draw im afraid.

Would avoid May until after the 20th due to all the public holidays - 1st half of June is good before the Italian and Spanish start their holidays or Septembre after the first week.

i went in june last year for 5 days and it was very hit and miss. few heavy showers along with dry periods and not a huge amount of sunshine either.

but in 2010 i went 5 days there in middle of september and it was glorious weather. dry and very warm all week.
