Best Time of the year for Golf at HH

My wife and I just bought into HH (We already owned BCV)
The main reason we bought at HH was for the golf in the area.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what time of the year s best for points use and for the cost of playing golf.

We just returned from HHI. DH is of the opinion that any time is a good time to golf at HHI! So many beautiful golf courses! When we were there, he picked up a booklet just on the different golf courses there, and I suspect he's sleeping with it under his pillow. Anyways, the best rates seem to be mid-May to mid-September. However, I just asked about golfing in January on these boards, and someone mentioned that there might be specials then with lower prices. Because, if the courses are closed, DH would feel it was a wasted trip. So for price, it seems to be summer, but otherwise-anytime! The first night there we stayed in a hotel that advertised "golf-one mile". What a joke! Everything there is within a mile of golf it seems. We were very happy with the weather and point values in March. Golf may cost a little more, but point values are lower than summer.
