Could I please ask for suggestions for the best time of day to have our vow renewal ceremony at the wedding pavilion, and any ideas for what to do for the rest of the day.
We are planning an 'Intimate' wedding package for Monday 10th Dec 2007 and it will be just us and 6 adult guests. We want lots of nice photo opportunities so need time for this, but we don't want to have too much 'wasted' time either, so are not quite sure what time to ask for. We will be staying at AKL if that makes any difference.
We are thinking we might have dinner at 1900 Park fayre? Also, photo's at sunset?
Any ideas gratefully received!
Thanks, Dee

Congrats on your intimate wedding coming up next December.

I had my wedding last December and had it at 2pm. It was perfect for us. It was then warm enough and we had time in the morning to prepare and the whole evening to celebrate...it was just fantabulous. Our day was non stop packed...so we had no wasted time at all.

Chat with me anytime, I'd love to hear your plans.

Have A Magical Day!

We are having our intimate at 3p.m. on December 18th. We are at SBP, but our day is starting out at about 9a.m. for hair and makeup then after the ceremony we are having dinner at the Maya Grill and after that we are all going to PI. But, if you're wanting to do park time, then it might work out better to have a morning wedding and do a lunch instead of dinner, then you could hit the parks in the afternoon and evening -- just a thought! Good luck deciding!!

We did 3pm as well at Sunset Pointe. I wanted 4pm so we would have more sunsety pics but that wasn't an offered time, and 5pm would have put us fighting darkness. It worked out perfectly. By the time we had the ceramony and gotten more pictures then I could imagine we were ready for dinner, 5:30, and we were back to our room around 8pm. Which would have left plenty of time to do more had we so chosen, but we were exhusted at that point and decided to just go and relax.

You many want to check I believe (and could be wrong) that the WP runs on even hours, so you could do a 4pm if you wanted. 3 was also good for us so we didn't have to be up way early for hair and make-up. I didn't want a 6am start on my big day.

We are getting married at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion at 2pm; which I thought was a nice time. Not too early so you don’t have to worry about getting up at some ridiculous hour but not too late so you can still enjoy the rest of your day.
The ceremony is at 2pm and takes roughly 20-30mins then you have the photos, which would take 30 mins or so, and your cake cutting which normally lasts about an hour. We are guessing that we will be done by 4pm and have an ADR for 1900 Park Fare at 4.45pm so I will let you know how we get on!
We are then planning to head down to Pleasure Island for a few drinks on our own and enjoy each others company to unwind from what I expect to be a hectic day!

My wedding is at 3pm, i personally would have wanted 2pm but its not an offered time at the yacht club gazebo. 3pm is noce for me as its still daylight and its still warm enough for sitting outside!
