We are considering a trip to WDW in November or December of 2009. We have never been during this time of the year, so I am asking for the expert's opinion. We would like to go when it is relatively less crowded but the weather is still nice enough for shorts and swimming. We live in Michigan, and would like to visit when it is still warm. Any suggestions? We realize the weather is "iffy" at best in Florida during the weather months.

right after thanks giving and before christmas I think Its up till the 19th

We felt that it was SUPER important to not go to WDW during crowded times and I was hoping for warm weather as well. We arrived 4 days after Thanksgiving and left Dec 5th and had a super time due to LOW crowds! We are so spoiled and could never go back during peak times or REG crowds for that matter. The weather was good! I would have liked warmer but it was 60's-70's most days. My hubby was thrilled since he hates hot temps. We were able to swim one night, but the others were too cold for us. It did rain a few times though. Overall, I'd say that's a great time to go!! I was thrilled to walk onto most rides everywhere we went!!

after thanksgiving crowds leave but before the christmas crowds get there. We went one year around my SW bday (Dec 7th) and we didn't have much lines for anything. I don't think we even used the fast pass

The week before thankgiving is a great time, weather is somewhere in the mid 70's. My co worker went the 2nd week in december and got great deal on airfair from spirit. Im a michigander too, GO WINGS!!!!

we are planning our first trip to WDW November 12-18th. Can anyone tell me if this is a good time to go. I think it is but I am looking for some reassurance. Please tell me your experience with this time of the year. Thanks :-)

The first week in December is good. Low crowds, beautiful weather (cooler), and everything is decked out for the Christmas Holiday!

We went that week for our honeymoon and it was wonderful!

I did alot of research and decided on November 14-20. I hear the crowds are not bad at all, and the weather is comfortable. I hope I'm not disappointed!

I go every year the first week of September (for our anniversary), and the First week of November (for my birthday). Its always the least crowded & perfect weather. December is rough-if you go the first week-it should be less crowded, but with the big holiday celebrations its tough to say. Thanksgiving is really busy-especially for people here in Florida-it seems like everyone goes up that weekend now. I would book either Nov 1-15 or December 1-15-Good Luck & have a great time! :wizard:
