Best time in February?

Hola all!

I know there are a lot of threads about weather, etc about February and when the time is best to go. I am trying to convince the wife to go in that month so we can take advantage of tax return.

My question: For Feb '07, what is the BEST week to go as far as crowds? Weather isn't a huge concern since it's going to happen anyway. But I know Prez week and Mardi Gras are in there somewhere, I'm just not sure how to figure it in.

SO, if we wanted to go for a week in February, what would be the least crowded week to go? I'm trusting in the experts here.

One last twist. I have to be in town on the 22nd because I'm producing a live concert show on that day.

Avoid President's Day weekend and the few days after the holiday (in 2007, that's approximately Feb 16-24). The rest of February is quite manageable.

Right now my plan is to be in the parks the 25th-28th. How does that sound?

We're going Feb. 26-March 4 because it's our school district's February vacation week. We've been several times that same week and it's been just fine - low crowds, nice weather. Hope to see you there!
