I am an avid camper, my husband is not. Still -- we both love Disney and like to do it affordably. I have tent camped all over Pennsylvania but never (in my adult life) in Florida. What is the best time for tent camping down there?

My DH likes to be comfortable -- too hot or too cold and he will be unhappy at the happiest place on earth!

Florida weather can be pretty unpredictable. January can be gorgeous, or can be rainy and cold. Maybe shoot for March or April? Although, that's peak season, I bet.

October has usually been a pretty good month for tenting. Also a slower time of the year. :thumbsup2

Also first half of November.

the beiginning of November seems good to me too.

October can still be hot at the beginning, plus it's still hurricane season and it does rain.

I went a a few times at the beginning of March (1st or second week) and it has always been beautiful. But on one trip I was told that it has rained non-stop the previous week, so who knows?

We went the last week of April this year and it was perfect. But we have a popup with AC that we did use at night.
