Best time for CP breakfast?

What's the best timing for CP breakfast with our teenage daughters on a Sunday in May? We want to maximize our time in MK while still having a good meal experience.

I would say the earliest possible time then. Esp. on a morning that isn't an EMH morning.

My DD and I had an 8:15 ADR there a few years ago and ate plenty, got visited by most of the characters and then we made rope drop at the back of Cinderella's castle well before 9am.

Love your idea. However, we'll be at POR without our own means of transportation; will the shuttle bus be able to get us to MK in time for an 8 AM-ish reservation? I had heard the shuttle system only begins at 8 AM.

Buses run from 1 hour prior to open. Character Breakfast buses run 1/2 hour prior to the restaurant's open.

Magic Kingdom: Disney Bus service begins approximately 1 hour prior to the park opening time listed for that day. Bus service for Character Breakfasts will begin ½ hour before the earliest seating. The marquee on the bus will read "Character Breakfast." It should be noted that guests should verify with the driver which park the bus is going to for the character breakfast because there are different ones for different parks.

In terms of maximizing park time, getting the earliest ADR possible is the best idea. CP starts seating at 8:05am.

I don't know why Disney likes to tell guests that buses start running an hour before park opening, because they actually start at 6:30am.

If you're staying at POR, I would go to the bus stop around 7 for an 8:05 CP ADR.
