DH & I will be at WDW for two nights before our Disney Cruise celebrating our 5 yr anniversary (and 2nd Honeymoon since we will be traveling without our little ones for the first time) I would really like to do something special since we never get any alone time so I thought it would be nice to splurge on a 2TS meal which we would never do while traveling with the kids. I have heard how romantic/special it is to watch Wishes from the CA Grill and thought that would be nice since we will only be in the parks for MNSSHP the following night.

We would be dining on a Thursday night in Sept and since Spectro is at 8pm, Wishes would be at 9pm that night. What would be the best time to make an ADR for CA Grill so we would be seated during Wishes? Also is there any tips on things I could do to make the night more special?

Thanks so much for any suggestions/tips you could give me!!!

8:00 is when we eat at CG and we are always at some point in our meal at 9:00. Our meals at CG usually take about 2 hours or so. Of course, we get drinks, appetizers, etc so your meal may be a bit shorter if you don't get all that.
The fireworks can really only be seen well from a table at or very near the window. There aren't many of those, so you MAY not get one and then the fireworks need to be seen from the observation deck.
All that a roundabout way of suggesting 8:00. That should leave you still eating at 9:00, and allows some slack in case you aren't seated exactly on time--which can happen at the CG.
