Hi we have a big group of 12-14. We are looking to get a 4-5 day park hopper for Disney parks and then a one day pass for Legoland and also a 2 day pass for Universal. Any recommendations on best deals for tickets and also any other fun stuff to do with kids and big group?? The kids going range btwn 2-13. Thanks :)

1) Just do a Google search and compare prices.
2) You DO NOT have a large group.
3) At least not large enough for any "group" discounts.

Hate to break it to you, but a BIG group is a couple of hundred people -- think marching band. Your group really isn't large enough to qualify for discounted group rates.

If your group includes a lot of children, I can give you advice re: Legoland. Sign each kid up for the online Lego Club; it includes a free magazine subscription, and the magazines almost always have coupons for a free child's ticket.

I wasn't looking for "group rates" I simply meant a site for cheaper since we have a larger than normal family group going. Thanks for the info on Legoland!

12 to 15 is actually a fairly normal number as many travel in Orlando for family reunions. We just did in March and had 19. You won't find any discounts for that size of party. You need to go much higher than that number, sorry.

Try undercover tourist for ticket discounts. Also if you work for a large company they may offer discount tickets or access to discount sites.

Sign up for the mousesavers.com newsletter and buy your tickets after the code comes out on the 15th of the month.

Or you could look into YES tickets but it's not the discount it used to be.

Check out Expedia or Orbitz - just got an email for 5 day park hopper for $341 that has to be redeemed before 12/31/13 and purchased by 9/2/13. Expedia is on Ebates, too...with 5% cashback; Orbitz is up to 10% cashback. $17 may not sound like much, but when you're buying for 14 people...$34 is even better!

I believe there are similar deals for non park hoppers as well. "pay for 3 days, get 5"

We avoid park hoppers altogether because we find it is too much time wasted in travel. If you have not gone before there are no direct buses b park to park or resort to resort and each leg of a trip takes about 30 hour (wait time and ride time). You may come and go as much as you want from a single park on a base ticket. Park hoppers add quite a bit to the bottom line.

UT 5 day base = 291.xx for adult and 278. xx child (this does not include mouse saver discount)

UT park hopper 5 day = 349.xx adult 329.xx child
