Hi, my daughter and I are bringing guests with us to Uni in November. Any discounts would be great. I'm wondering where I can find the best price for their tickets. We are Annual Pass Holders, thanks.

I don't remember the exact dates as I don't have the AP newsletter with me but there's 50% off special for passholders' friends and family. I can check the dates when I get home and let you know.

the 50% off deal ended on the 17th!! :(

But I think you should call and play dumb! lol. ;) Maybe you will get some mummy dust and they will let you get the discounted tickets. But call the APH number right now, don't wait. Oh, and shipping is free on these tickets! YAY.

good luck!

No mummy dust today but the guy said the promotion will start again on Sept. 2nd, so I'm waiting.
Thanks everyone so much for the information!

That's true but there was a second set of dates on the AP newsletter that extended into December.

According to the newsletter...the second set of dates are 9/2 thru 12/20.

I just purchased AP but do not have that newsletter. How often do they send it out or can you scan and eMail it to me. I am going in October and need to purchase a ticket.

Also, if I want to purchase a ticket how do I do that? Just at front gate? Guest services? Special phone number?

Thanks,

Phil

The newsletter is sent out sporadically...I will get it sometimes but other times not. I know you can purchase the tickets at the gate with your AP and you can also purchase by phone on the Passholders hotline which is 1-866-PASS-4-FUN...not sure about the website. In October, I doubt you will have much of a wait at the gate so you might want to wait and buy them there.

Do they do this every fall? We're planning for Oct 2009. :cool1:
They did it last year but I wouldn't plan on waiting to see what happens a year from now. Also...these tickets are only good for the date of purchase...you can't purchase them ahead of time and hold on to them like the other tickets.

Ahhhh! Thanks, that is good to know...I think I'd prefer to have them in hand before going.

Your advice is great. Based on everything I've read and what you've told me...I think I will plan on going with AAA membership and book PBH early in 2009 since it will save money on other hotels anyway throughout the year, keep watching for Super Saver rates in case some come out that are lower than AAA rates and look for ticket specials like those that are out right now with more park days when the time comes.

Since that is settled, I think I can relax now. :hourglass

Sounds like a winning plan to me! :thumbsup2

Ty for pointing out the other dates!

I ordered the 50% tickets on the phone, and the ticket is not date specific. Also, there is no expiration date:)

Ah...very nice! That's a new wrinkle from last year then and good to know! :thumbsup2

Anything going on for this weekend??? My pass expires 9/1...I was hoping for some worth while discount. Even a single park pass would be good.
