Pretty much one of the most tender pieces of meat I've ever had. It comes with bearnaise sauce on top which was also very yummy.

When it comes to sides, I'll to say I was not a fan of the steamed spinach... Tasted too much like... simply boiled leaves.

Not for me.

I love the Mahi and the short ribs. When I had the prime rib I did not like it.

It may not be the best the Blue Bayou has to offer, but it served as my introduction to the fried concoction and I really enjoyed it. Not to mention this is the place that popularized it so obviously it has a fan base. Try it at least once and see if your a member of the Mickey Mouse Monte Cristo Club. We could get t-shirts printed and everything!

Oh you are so on top if it for me tonight. I recently was reading the menus and saw there was a meat version and a cheese version. Since I am a MC virgin I was going to ask which is "THE" MC. But now I see, if I am going to devirginize myself....go for the meat.
