Best Table Service Restaurants

We are going to do the dining plan this year at Disney. What are the best table service restaurants for us. It will be me, my husband, and 3 year old daughter.

for my boyfriend and I, we'd pick Boma, Ohana and Le Cellier as our top 3. however, there are so many options! It depends on what you are looking for..there are buffets, certain environments (like at Coral Reef with the huge aquarium), quiet dinners, character dining, etc

Crystal Palace is the best. Also Chef Mickey's. Both are buffets and character meals...different characters.
The food is very good at both as well.

For non buffet non character TS we love Whispering Canyon Cafe as well as San Angel Inn and Le Cellier.

Personally I look at the menus online and see what I like and choose from there. You will get good and bad views on every DW restaurant here on the boards, so I always say if the menu appeals to you try it.

Decide which charachters your daughter is really into and plan at least 1 or 2 charachter meals. I've been to Chef Mickey's and also Crystal Palace and they are both nice charachter meals. I have 3 boys so we never did any of the Princess meals.

Are you staying at VWL? I would go to Whispering Canyon Cafe, my kids enjoyed that.

Grand Floridian cafe is excellent as is Sanaa and also Kona Kafe and 50s Prime Time Cafe......Kids love 50s Prime Time Cafe..Out of all of them I would say Kona first, Sanaa, then Grand Floridaian Cafe, 50s Prime Time Cafe. Tonys Town Square in Magic Kingdom is another good one and Tutu Italia in Epcot if you like Italian.

if you want to go into a restaurant that is located in one of the parks....do you have to have a ticket for that park? can you go in just for the meal & come back out?

If the restaurant is in the park you'll need a ticket.

Yes you have to have a ticket to enter the park that the restaurant is in.
Also if you do one park and then go to another park for dinner you must have the hopper pass to do so.
