Help! We are making our first trip to DL Paris in November. We'll arrive on a Tuesday morning and leave the following evening. So I only have one restaurant for a nice dinner. Which one should I choose?? We're staying at DL Hotel, if that helps. Thanks!

I think the best options are Bistro Chez Remy and Walt's.
Bistro:
pros
: awesome atmosphere, food is good, good friendly service, and it is close to the ride if you want to hop on before or after dinner(hop on with fast pass or single rider)
cons: a slightly limited menu

Walt's
Pros:
good food, the rooms have cool themes and fun stuff to look at (rooms are themed to be a different land of the DL park), you can see Main Street while eating
Cons: the rooms in the restaurant were dirty, we were in the tomorrowland room and there was a layer of dust over everything and we sat next to the fireplace and there was a mousetrap in the fireplace in plain view, I'm just glad one of Mickey's friends wasn't in residence), our server wasn't very friendly either but not nasty or anything just not as happy in her work as other people we encountered

I think one of our best meals was at Buffalo Bill's but if you have limited time in the parks you might not want to invest in a dinner show but it was highly entertaining and the meal was good. My only complaint was that the chilli while it had good flavor had too many beans, but I am not a beans in my chilli fan.

The 2 restaurants already mentioned are both in the parks . If you are visiting midweek in November the parks will probably close early (7ish?) so you may want to have dinner after this to maximise your time in the parks. If thats the case the best 2 restaurants are probably the ones in your hotel- DL hotel.
California Grill is the signature restaurant and Inventions is a buffet meal with characters - the food in both is extremely nice.

If you like characters I'd go for Inventions. It's a buffet but usually of very good quality - lots to choose from and the characters are usually good fun. You will need to book however if the parks close early as there aren't as many options for eating, so places do get booked up. It also has tables overlooking Main Street which is very nice (you will know this from breakfast in the hotel though as it's in the same place).

You don't say when you are going in November. We went end November and characters were dressed in Christmas clothes at our Inventions meal which was lovely.

I've also been to Cali Grill - very different to the one at WDW (if you've been there), high end - expensive and fine dining. But an experience and delicious food.

Not sure I'd go back to Cali but I'd always make time to do Inventions during a trip. In fact, we've been known to visit twice on some trips!
