Best table service in Epcot?

In your opinion what's the best table service in Epcot? We have been to San Angel Inn 10+ years ago and honestly I don't remember much about the food or service. We are planning on doing Akershus but we're looking for something else we might enjoy too.

I think "best" is all relative. It will depend upon your favorite type of food, favorite kind of atmosphere, members of your traveling party etc.

Some great choices:
You mentioned mexican, so I would suggest La Hacienda.
Via Napoli is excellent food, but it can be quite loud.
Biergarten is fun, with good food, but also loud and you have to be comfortable with their communal seating.
Spice Road is great if you're okay with tapas-style.
Rose and Crown is excellent - simple, but great food.

Epcot has such a variety of options, it's difficult to really come to a conclusion on what's best in World Showcase, since it appeals to so many. I'm sure that for every World Showcase restaurant, there's a guy out there who says it's his favorite, and a guy out there who vows to never return. As much as Le Cellier gets a bad rep, I'm sure there's a guy out there who recommends it to all of his friends planning a trip, saying it's the best steak he's had.

Via Napoli generally gets good reviews. My family is also fond of Rose and Crown.

Akershus is my personal favorite, been there 4-5 times.
I've also ate at Garden Grill, Coral Reef, and Biergarten. I'd go back to Biergarten but not to the other 2.

There are a number of good places and people with different opinions and taste. Having said that, the best table service on our last visit was Coral Reef (Epcot ). This place gets a lot of mixed reviews. There are as many people that hate it as there are who love it. We had a very good dinner there last time. The steak was tender and flavorful. The Jack Daniels Chocolate mousse for dessert was very good. We loved it.

It really depends on what type of food you are looking for. Some of our favorites are Via Napoli, Le Cellier and Spice Road Table.

This is clearly subjective, etc, etc. That said, we have eaten at every restaurant in Epcot (except Spice Road Table that we are doing in Aug, and Tutto Italia that we're not really interested in) and OUR personal favorites are Via Napoli and Le Cellier.

At some point this board seemed to turn on Le Cellier (when they made it 2 TS??), but we have enjoyed it every year since 2005 or so.

Via Napoli is probably our top Epcot choice these days. EXCELLENT pizza. Some complain that it's loud -- it's certainly not QUIET, but if I hadn't heard that here, it's certainly not something I would have complained about.

Some other ones we like...
- Monsieur Paul was good -- had a couple of "date nights" there
- Biergarten is fun, but far from best food.
- Teppan Edo is always tasty, but not that different from any other hibachi style restaurant that might be in your neighborhood.
- Tokyo Dining is solid, but again not different from places we have in our neighborhood.
- La Hacienda is nice if you like Mexican food.

There are places we've done once and have no desire to ever do again:
- Coral Reef
- Rose & Crown
- Restaurant Marrakesh

All the ones I didn't mention we find "ok", but we'd rather go back to our favorites or some of the others we like than do them again.

As many dining options as Epcot has, we aren't huge fans of most of them as they've really Americanized the food options and taken the "world" aspect out of them. That said our favorite would be Via Napoli. I've never ventured beyond the pizza, but it is authentic Neopolitan pizza done exceptionally well. The other choices aren't bad per se I just wouldn't waste a dinner on them. We do enjoy San Angel, Tokyo Dining, and Teppan Edo but prefer them as lunch options

Via Napoli, Tokyo Dining, La Hacienda de San Angel & Biergarten. My sister & I have eaten at each of them multiple times & they are wonderful every single time.

We enjoy Via Napoli. Our favorite there is the arancini appetizer & the pepperoni pizza. We've also tried a few of their pasta dishes and liked them a lot!

I agree many did turn on it when it went signature; Not me, I bought into all the hype when it was a 1TS, booked it 180 days out and couldn't wait to have my earth shaking out of body experience everyone said they had when dining at this best place to dine under Heaven. Wow, it was such a letdown for me... A few short months later they went signature, changed very little on the menu, did nothing with the seating, decor or anything and just jacked up the prices. It would take a minor miracle for me to try it again. But too each their own... Some love it (I appreciate their opinion), others like me are not all that excited about it.

Some of my favorites are:

• Monsieur Paul- I enjoy this signature restaurant much more than the one referenced above. Nice, quiet, very good service and the food was very good as well.
  
• San Angel Inn- This was one I avoided because of DIS opinions. Finally after 3 visits to Epcot I finally said why not and loved it. I will admit the service is spotty and it's cramped and dark. You may say so is LC... But LC is a signature and cost twice as much.
• Tokyo Dining- Not the best sushi I have ever had, but it is still pretty good. Very nice view and the servers and staff at this place is the friendliest I have experienced anywhere in WDW.
• Biergarten- I am not a fan of lunch/dinner buffets, but Biergarten is one of only two I will dine at other than breakfast. (Boma is the other) Decent food and a real fun atmosphere. The communal seating does not bother me at all.

I think Le Cellier expectations were just ridiculous based on DIS opinions back then. It's like people were expecting Inn at Little Washington or Paul Bocuse in Paris for what... 1/5 to 1/10 the price!!!

I thought it was very good . Big plate of sharing food that was replenished often. The steak was magnificent . Italian sausage and mashed potato very good. Well worth it in my opinion .

Teppan ado in Japan and Via Napoli in Italy would be our favourites . Family just love both.

We have a few so bear with me
San Angel Inn...Love the ambiance here, somewhat romantic, food is always good. This has been a staple for us for 30 plus trips.
Rose N Crown...love lunch here, anything from the burger to the more authentic pub foods is good. Try the scotch egg for an appetizer and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert
Via Napoli...Piccante Pizza, nothing more to be said except, fold it when you eat it. I was with AnnieT( a friend and fellow DISer)who is full blooded Italian and she showed me the way to eat pizza. Oddly, it makes the pizza taste even better
Nine Dragons...Again, one dish draws us in like VN does. Honey Sesame Chicken. Nothing fancy about this place, in fact, many will argue its no different than any other Chinese food place back home. If I lived in NY, San Fran or the like, I would probably agree, but I live in Small Town, NC and we dont have a Nine Dragons caliber place where I am from
Biergarten...Last but not least(and these are no particular order), the food, the atmosphere, the band all combine for a wonderful experience. This is a great place to get out of the hot FL sun, and stay for awhile. I have been told by a few native German folks(we work at a retirement community so we run into a lot of backgrounds)that Biergarten for the most part is pretty authentic in the food dept. Only one lady told me it is not, but she also said, its just like the USA, different regions, different foods.
