I'm going to WDW in Dec. with DH and my parents. Usually my mom and I go together just the two of us and tour completely commando style. This time, we'll be doing a more relaxed pace and many people in our group like sit down breakfasts. What are your recommendations? So, far I have ADRs for Boma and Crystal Palace. I LOVE the breakfast food at Boma. What are some non-buffet options that may be hidden gems for sit down breakfasts? I guess this could include some counter service locations but I had table service in mind, which we'll probably pay OOP for since we have a dinner reservation each night we're there. Yeah, we pretty much go to WDW to eat! :rotfl:

I am going to try Kouzzina on my next trip - their breakfast menu looks good, and it's a great location for hitting Epcot or MGM afterwards.

Kona has good breakfast (and great coffee!), The Wave looks tasty, Boatwrights is good, the GF Cafe menu looks good.

^^^ We had buffet breakfasts at Chef Mickey's (CS), Cape Mae Cafe (BC), Tusker House (AK), and one non-buffet family style breakfast at Ohana's (Poly). These were all character meals as it was our children's first trip to Disney and we wanted them to experience as many character meals as possible. We'll be going back to Chef Mickey's for sure. We loved the other places too, but for breakfast CM got voted the best overall by our travel party.

Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is excellent and very well placed for a day at the MK, not too out of the way if you plan to go to Epcot.

olivia's at OKW is a great breakfast. it is a little out of the way, but well worth it. trail's end at FW is a good buffet. unfortunately, boatwright's no longer serves breakfast:sad1::yay:

Sorry, I don't consider either Boma or CP to be "table service" since you are getting your own food. The only thing being served at your table are beverages.

I would have to also recommend Kona. The only TS you can get Tonga Toast at (if you're interested in it). You can get it at Captain Cooks counter service but that's counter service.

I had a nice breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe years ago. It was quiet, and the waitress was very friendly. She even snuck a biscuit out of the kitchen for me since the omelet breakfast didn't even come with a scrap of toast or any kind of bread.

If you have a car I can point you towards a Perkins and a Bob Evans. Good eats at half the cost!

Grand Floridian Cafe was a lovely, quiet, relaxing breakfast for us last fall.

Kona is a perpetual favorite (partly because my hubby loves Tonga Toast).

The Wave looks like it might provide a pretty good breakfast, too. We're trying it next month.

Kona for the Tonga Toast and Wasabi Mary is great for breakfast. Also, Olivia’s (at OKW) is great for the Banana Bread French Toast and Salmon Eggs Benedict. Olivia's has a good Bloody Mary too.

IMO Olivia's is Disney's best kept secret. Kona is great and everyone knows about it and loves it, rightfully so, but Olivia's gets little talk and is really great! Also, Olivia's has outdoor seating which can be difficult to find for many Disney TS restaurants.

My fave hidden gem for breakfast is Rainforest Cafe at AK: http://allears.net/menu/men-rfak.htm. Their breakfast is so YUMMY & the prices are really reasonable. DH & I are big eaters, but we can't finish the breakfast pizza or huge tonga french toast together. Plus, we like the atmopshere there. (BTW, it's at the entrance, so you don't need a ticket to get into the park.)

grand floridian cafe--excellent suggestion! and 4everSoarin'--gotta agree w/you about olivia's!! ssssshhhhhhh:yay:

We had a wonderful breakfast at Grand Floridain Cafe. Great food, great service and it was a quite breakfast since it was not a buffet or character meal. Enjoy
