Best TA for Forida Residents

We've been on 2 cruises which were FRR. We rebooked on board for #3 which is again in Sept and should be again a FRR.(hopefully we won't have to travel with another hurricane)
I called and spoke to the agency I used last time who was great and was told I have a really great rate and they can't do much better. I got the impression they didn't want to take my ressie altho I didn't actually speak to my TA.
I'd like to get some other quotes but the last time I did that some didn't respond and the quotes I did get were so much higher than the one I had.
My concern about some of the other TAs is some seem to have only emails. I like to have a # to actually speak to someone.
Has anyone had experience with this? And did you have to call the agent to tell them about the rates when they announced them (as I did) or did they proactively take control?

We haven't been on a cruise yet but friends of ours booked their cruise onboard and then switched it to Small World Vacations. They kept their room rate and the onboard discount, in addition they are eligible for the rebate that the agency offers. They were also told that they would let them know of any Florida resident discounts should they become available

They have cruised often and the best price is always by rebooking onboard because of the discount and the onboard credit but there is no reason why they can't transfer their reservation to a travel agency

Dana is an awesome TA! I use her all the time! However , I do understand that she had surgery recently, so she may not be in the office today. But call the number on her website, leave a message is no one answers. SHe is great!

Another vote for Small World Vacations. My TA Diana helped me apply my Disney Reward Dollars to the cruise, she answered all my questions in a timely manner, she was available via e-mail and phone and to top it all off I received a rebate just after arriving home! I highly recommend them!

I too had a TA who told me I couldnt get a better deal- I did with allseatravel and was very happy with my fla rate and TA
