what sunscreen do you recomend me????

I mean what is the best sunscreen available in the market today, i dont care about the price, all i care is about protection and a non-greasy aspect in my face.

I heard the best sunblocks coming from France, but i dont know wich brand should i buy.

What brand of sunscreen do you recomend me? :confused3 even if its a 100 dlls sunscreen.

I dont like all that cheap (10dlls) sunbocks from walmart or target, cause i think they are not too good.

PS.- Sorry for my "mexican" english.

I think Arizona Sun brand is fantastic. I also love our Prescriptives (cosmetic brand) spray on sun screen. It is a spray-on screen that goes on like silk.

For your face, I would say you are better off sticking to cosmetic brands' sunsceen as they are formulated differently. A cosmetic company is likely to be very mindful that they aren't greasy. Brands I would consider include Prescriptives and Clinque.

the new fast dry sports ones are great we used them all summer you can even close your eyes and mist your face and it drys in secs. It is the bomb for kids they hate putting on the lotion it takes so long but this stuff is great. There are many different makers.

You are somewhat correct about sunscreen from France but you to can get it in Mexico just not in the U.S. You need to look for one that has Mexoryl two brands that i've found are Ombrelle and Anthelios. If you can't find these i tend to like a brand called Total block but it's not cheap.

Australian Gold is the best and smells good too.

I highly recommend clinique sunscreen-I use this in the Caribbean in the summer and never get burned. It is light and non-greasy. They make a spray formula and a cream in spf 15 and spf 30, a special facial sunscreen (spf 30), lip balm with sunscreen, etc. They even have tinted sunscreens for the ladies. My DH is super pale skinned and this brand works perfectly on him.

Does it have cocoa butter in it? I am allergic to cocoa butter.

My vote is for South Beach Tan, its wonderful and goes to a 50+ SPF, I bought it in Florida, but other 'specialty' shops carry it too, I also agree with Australian Gold, and I'll add that Ocean Potion is amazing too and smells wonderful .... and no cocoa butter in any of these listed! Lots of tea tree and good things!

Thank you for listing these and letting me know no cocoa butter in any of them. :)

I've got red hair and the standard complextion that goes along with it. Add that to the fact that I spend most of my time in cubeville under florescent lights and I burn very, very quickly. I also have very sensitive skin. So, too much of the wrong stuff and I break out, get little bumps, little itchy bumps, big itchy bumps or some combination.
I've found that the best sun screen for me is Banana Boat Kids (yellow tube) or Banana Boat Sport (Orange tube with blue cap). 30+ SPF (there is some 45 out there, but I haven't been able to tell the difference between 30 and 45 or 50, so I go with the 30). Applied regularly (every 3-4 hours or so. Low end if I'm in the water a lot or at higher elevations) that does a great job of protecting me.
It's goes on a little greasy but dries quickly and after that I can't tell I have it on.

I like the Neutrogena sunscreens. They're not greasy and absorb well. They even make an SFP 30 moisturizer for your face (it's not with the sunscreens, it's with the facial moisturizers).

I tried the spray-on Coppertone (in the blue bottle). Liked it a lot for my legs - took no time at all to apply. However, I didn't like it on my back - it was really hard to get off! I thought it would be a great option for the afternoon I went to the pool by myself (could spray it on without having to ask for anyone's help). That stuff adheres like glue - it took two days to scrub it off. Guess it means it doesn't wear off easily, right?

Bath and Body Works makes a great sunscreen. I am red haired and very fair skinned. DH and I were down in the world in August and I didn't burn once. It's called 29 and Holding and it's a part of their True Blue Spa Collection.

At first I was skeptical but the manager who is light blond and very fair skinned swore by it when they went to Jamaica. So, I gave it a try and it was terrific. Very light and a nice scent.

One great thing about this sunscreen is that it has the Parsol 1789 which helps protect against skin damaging UVA rays.

HTH.

Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen, if you can find it.

I am very light complected and have some skin issues, and I buy this sunscreen directly from my dermotologist. I think you might be able to get it on-line though. They make the regular version and a baby version. I use the baby version myself. It is very gentle but works great. I would definately recommend it, and you won't go broke buying it...it generally runs about $15.00 per bottle.

I have to agree with the Neutogena sunscreen. My skin is fairer than most of my families and I have a sensitivty to the sun to boot. I found Neutrogena's Ultrasoft hydrating block SPF45 to be the best Ive found so far. It works great. Its not greasey at all, and moisterizes my skin as well.

I love Bullfrog gel. It dries so quick and gives great coverage. I hate putting on sunscreen that feels greasy and seems to take forever to dry.

My dermatologist recommends Coppertone Sport 45. It isn't greasy and we don't get burned with it. This summer they had a continuious misting spray that was terrific. It was so easy to spray on, very fast drying and non-greasy. Just the thing to take to the parks and reapply every couple hours.

We think the best sunscreen is by Arbonne. It is all natural and covers well without being greasy. Last trip we reapplied once a day and that was in June! My kids are very fair and only have a problen in the spots we miss.

PM me if you need to find some near you.

Hawaiian Tropic (among others) makes a sunscreen that is 8 hour waterproof. Look on the back for it to say 8 hour waterproof. It stays on long through sweat and pools. Get the highest SPF you can.

We used the continuous spray Coppertone this summer. Worked great for me. The only time I started turning pinkish is when I forgot to put it on before going out for the day. DH HATED it. Not only because it is hard to scrub off (and I do mean scrub) but it also caused him to not be able to sweat...which is his body's only way of regulating heat. Not a very good thing. Took a couple of days to figure out why he was having a hard time keeping up and getting over heated, when he never really has those problems otherwise. Once we figured out what the problem was, he switched to DS's waterbabies (or whatever brand it was) and was fine.

We love the Neutrogena too. It does not feel greasy on and lasts a long time.
