Hi all,
I'm planning my trip for next May. Stayed ot POR last May, but rooms are too small for my group of 6 plus my mother in law. Was looking to upgrade to one of the home away from homes. I'd love to hear your opinions on the different resorts and accomodations.

This board was a huge help last year. Also, do specials ever go out for these resorts? :)

In the past I have seen some discounts, but mainly for the Disney Institute which is now closed. You may also want to post this on the DVC board, since the DVC members really know all about the various resorts. I'm staying at OKW for the first time in October.(just 1 night prior to our cruise)

I've looked for discounts on suites in the past. Never had any luck and responses to posts I made inquiring about that usually came back negative. However, I did get an AP discount on a 1 bedroom at BWV 4 years ago. It was 40% off rack rate (HUGE savings). I would look to getting one of the discount codes or AP rate for a villa before looking at the various suites at the resorts. All of the home away from home villas are set up pretty much the same, so it is just a matter of preference for which location you want and prices. I think a 2 bedroom would be able to accomodate 7 people. We loved the BWV. The location was great - walk to Epcot, boat to MGM. Plus we had all the entertainment right at our doorstep. BCV would be very comparable as far as location. Of course with BCV, you get SAB plus they will be less than a year old next May, so they should be very nice. I would guess that these will be the most expensive though. VWL and OKW are a little more laid back in my opinion. Both look wonderful and would be a great choice to save money, since the setup is all the same. Have a wonderful time planning. Sometimes I think that is just as much fun as going (well, almost!)

Thanks for the info sharon,

Just one question. WHat is SAB
