Hi,
If anyone has stayed at a studio overlooking the Boardwalk, what room number did you stay in that has the best view? Also has anyone stayed in a studio with the Boardwalk view that had a daybed where you could sleep five?I am going and want to request a certain room if possible, but i have never been there before so i need someone elses opinions.
thanks so much,

I was very happy with 5029 (4029, 3029).
What a coincidence! I had #4029 and I loved it! At first I was a little nervous because there was a basketball game right across from me-think boing, boing!!! But he closed up every night before 11:00. Come to think of it, a light sleeping toddler may notice it, but I doubt it.

I wouldn't plan on getting this Studio Plus room because you cannot request it. It's the luck of the draw. You can't put five in a studio. They will let you put five in a one bedroom, but not provide any additional bedding. If you have five in a studio, one had better be a child under the age of three. Even if you do get that Studio Plus room, it takes a pretty small child to fit on the "daybed". If you try to request a specific room by number, plan on being disappointed. The room may be occupied when you arrive and then they have no idea at all about what you really want.

Also, just an aside. No studio connects to another studio. So if you have to split up your family into two studios, you will need to make sure there are some adults in both rooms. The two studios may even be on different floors.

We were in 3007. No daybed and a long walk from the elevators but we did not mind. We were almost at the end of the hall and used the stairs more often than the elevators. Great view of Spaceship Earth and the room was right under the Crest O' The Wave sign and above the DVC model rooms.

I am not sure if this is technically a Boardwalk view, but

My parents were just in 3053. It is a studio plus room right over the Village Greene with a view of the lake and the Boardwalk. It also has an enormous balcony.

Only this stretch of rooms on this floor have those huge balconies.

Since you appear to be a renter, you may not be aware that BW view is a room type that is reserved. It of course if very popular and do not count on getting that view unless you are able to rent points from a BWV owner and they reserve it close to 11 months from you reservation date. I wouldn't worry about what exact room is the best. You will have a great view with BW view.

As far as 5 in a studio.... well that's a whole nother thead :rolleyes1

We were in 5005 in Oct. It is the farthest studio from the lobby on the highest floor and it had an amazing view. It was a lockoff, so no day bed. Small, but adequate balcony and did I mention the amazing view of Spaceship Earth with the Sorcerer's Wand and the fireworks and even some of the fire effects from Illuminations. No question, we are spoiled!

We stayed in a two-bedroom unit last month. The room numbers were 4003 and 4005. I think 4005 was the studio portion.

5055 was an AMAZING room. We didn't book it as a Boardwalk View, but rather a preferred view. We had a great view of Spaceship Earth, the Boardwalk, the lake and the Beach and Yatch Clubs. It was AMAZING

If you can, get the top floors. ESPN, The Brewery and jellyrolls let out about 2 am. It gets noisy with all the happy people leaving.by the boardwalk. The 2nd floor over the screen door store balconys are closed type, you can't see the lake sitting down.

In May 2005 we stayed in this area great view loved it.

where exactly is this room located on the boardwalk map? do you know if it is near the screen door store or the brew pub? just trying to figure out where this one would be.
thanks

You do NOT want 5017 (or was it 5015?). We are just back and had the 2BR with these 2 rooms. The 1BR portion was FABULOUS! The best view and deck ever. The studio portion was CRUMMY. There was too much building around the deck and you could not see Illuminations at all. Ironic since just next door in our room it was wonderful.

Good luck!

I stayed in 5007 and loved it. Top floor, of course, first at Crest of the Wave under the green and white striped awning, and tremendous view of Spaceship Earth (the down side is this is a looooong walk from the elevator). I have also stayed over the Brew Works (please someone give the exact name) in 3060 I think and really enjoyed it.
