I was going to search for this answer, but the search function has been disabled.

We're going to be at BCV in a studio the last week of September, and I'm looking for a room that may have a small view of Epcot or the lagoon and possibly close to the resort itself.

We stayed at the villas in February in a studio and were on the 5th floor way at the very end next to the small elevator-and it was awful! After our first night I had to request a room change because you could hear the darn elevator every time someone used it. It was driving me nuts!

In both rooms I was not happy with the view-the parking lot and quiet pool. From the top floors you don't see much of the pool, just the parking lot. I guess I'd like to be on the other side of the building (lagoon side). Is there any good spot to ask for?

Amy,

What lagoon?
Do you mean the canal?
I was recently in 422 a studio with EPCOT Illuminations view, very close to main elevators without the noise. 425 and 427 might also be good choices.
For queit pool view maybe 228,328,428,412,414,416,312,314,316 Good Luck and have a good trip.

We were in #412 last year and I thought it was heavenly. It was just off the elevators and right across from the laundry room, so convenient when laundry isn't right in the room. We had a great pool view and a small balcony with two chairs and a small table. I swear we didn't see the parking lot. It was non-smoking and I found it quiet. A/C worked fine and I didn't see any ants. :)

You may like the Woods/Wetlands view, which also has a view of Epcot and is very close to the main elevators. The numbers would be 525*, 425*, 527, 427, 531*, 431*. The ones with the asteriks are dedicated studios.

How much of the Epcot fireworks/show can you see from the studios? Is it just the very highest fireworks or can you see Earth?

We were in a non smoking studio #416 during Christmas! We loved it! I agree with the above poster, it is great having the laundry room right across the hall, very convienent. Even though it was neas the laundry room and elevators, it as very, very quiet!

From some of the rooms on the 5th floor you can see Earth a little bit through the trees as it moves to the center of the lagoon. I wouldn't count on seeing it much though. The fireworks view is pretty good though from some of the rooms on the 5th floor.

Are #525 and #425 Handicapped-Accessible? I'm making a list of all the studios at BCV that have been commented on. Of the ones with comments so far, it seems that #555 and #561 have the best comments on views. Anyone who's stayed in those agree or disagree? Any other comments?

I'm going in about 2 weeks. I have a studio preferred view. Can you see any fireworks from a boardwalk view? What other views are a possibility in a preferred view? thanks for the info.

I was in a Studio Room #461 last Dec and had a great view of Illuminations and Spaceship Earth. I had made my ressie the first day that BCV was available for ressies, back in march 2002, and at 9 am, so I must have been one of the first in line for a great room. Of course, the view of the fireworks was over the trees, so you could see the highest ones.

But, I didn't like the noise from the road!

The best thing about the room was the porch - almost 3 times the size of a regular porch, because the room is right where the building turns.

we had 561 and I loved it - the road noise was not a problem - but we did not have an extra large balcony.

this was a dedicated studio - across from elevators - close but not close enough to cause noise problems

We saw the fireworks - the high ones - but what I really loved was the view of Spaceship Earth - I think I just sat there and looked at it - I loved looking at that morning, afternoon and evening - of course everyone has different taste.

now when we arrived there was a noisey problem with the room - they first tried to blame the elevators - but when I pointed out that they were not close enough to cause this problem - they looked further - it was the air-conditioner and they have to take the thing apart to fix the problem - took them around 4 hours - we left but when we came back they were still working on it - they did a good job and fixed the problem.

I would love this room again - but I think demand for it - would be great - so I am not counting on it - but am I going to request - you bet!
