Best stroller under $100?

I did not like the Maclaren's so many of you love. They are basically an umbrella stroller that hold larger children. The models higher than the Volo recline.

I didn't like the way my niece sat in them-low to the ground (I know her feet would drag as she wouldn't keep them up on the foot rest) and she seemed squished (I like kids backs to be flat not squished into their body). After purchasing a Pliko P3, I found out that the Maclaren's tip easily with a bag on the handle. So glad I didn't purchase one, I would have hated it!

Might want to try Craigslist and find a higher end stroller for cheap there. We got our Peg Perego Pliko p3 normally 300+ for $75 and it was almost brand new and we absolutely love it for Disney!

We took this stroller to Disney at Christmas and have also taken it to other museum campuses. I like this stroller because it holds up to 50 pds so both my toddler and 6 year old are able to use it. 6 year old only uses it to rest his legs at Disney.....but still it was there :)

Thanks for the suggestions! I had some follow-up questions:

1) For those of you who liked the Maclarens.. did you find it a problem that there is no tray? My son doesn't really use his tray all that much on his Graco but I am wondering if at Disney it would be nice to be able to put his snacks there.

2) This is my first time flying with my son and this is probably a dumb question but what does "gate check" mean? I am assuming it means when we get to the gate we give them the stroller there and they put it at the front of the plane for us.. is that correct? Do you really need one of those "gate check" bags I see sold everywhere?

3) Anyone have a Joovy Scooter? It reclines all the way almost and has a huge basket but it seems like it is heavier and doesn't have a strap to carry it on your back, which seems like it would be really important getting on and off buses.

Never really bothered me. I guess I just never missed it.

pretty much exactly, I didn't use a stroller bag

can't help with this one

When you gate check the stroller they take it from you when you get on the plane and then they put down in the bottom of the plane with all of the lugguage if you don't buy a bag I would at least consider bringing a trash bag to cover the stroller from getting dirty or grease stains. It doesn't happen all the time but it is possible.

For the tray it was never a problem for us but I did get a cupholder to ad to the side while we are in disney for my dd's. If you think the tray would be better for you there is a baby trend stroller that the tray fits on the maclarens

this is the stroller
