Best stroller under $100?

Hi! I am going to buy a new stroller for this trip as I only have a very large and bulky Graco Quattro and a VERY cheap umbrella stroller. I need something in between. I am looking for something that reclines at least a little, has some storage space, and is lightweight.

I know that everyone raves about the Baby Jogger City Mini but its a little more then I want to spend, as we have baby #2 on the way and I am anticipating having to buy a double stroller soon as well.

Anyone have any recommendations for something in the $50-$100 price range? And if your recommendation is to rent one, can you tell me about how much that costs per day?

Definitely look into the Maclaren strollers. They're sturdy and can hold older children (such as 4 - 5 year olds). I can't remember the style that we have but after having a cheaper umbrella stroller, the Maclaren was a good investment. I think I paid $129 for the one we have. We purchased ours from Babies R Us. I would do a search on them and read the reviews. I also bought the clear tarp for when it rains - I definitely used this the last time we went to Disney!

Check out the Chicco Liteway - you can usually get a 20% off coupon for BRU to make it about $110. Almost full recline, easy to push, lightweight, adjustable sunscreen, and nice height handles.

I really wanted the Maclaren or the BJ, but it wasn't economically feasible when I was shopping...so, we got this one

We've had it for 5 years now and it cost me $50. It has a 1 stage recline. I even ran over a wheel (with my car) and was able to order a replacement. The good new is, I had a second girl, so I'm still using it.

I think they may have a more updated version now.

Ours is about 3 years old and still handles really well considering DS is up to 35lbs. It's super easy to take apart to clean, has a decent sized basket, folds very easily, and fully reclines. My only complaint would be the small sun shade, but we've always used an additional UV over so it hasn't been an issue.

(And this seller is reportedt o be Maclaren themselves, getting rid of overstocks. It's who I bought my Volo from, although I paid $70 shipped. Several years later I sold it for $40. Not bad!)

Machlaren all the way if it is a little over 100 it is so worth it. I have had a quest for 3 years and it is still going strong I absolutely love it so much that I bought 2 more of them one double and one Xlr for my newborn. The quest has been through at least 4 plane trips and two Disney trips and my only fear is that it will get stollen! Worth every penny.

I have a Micro double and the sunshade/recline really aren't adequate for Disney in my opinion. That is one of the losses on the Micro versus the Mini.

If you decide to rent- we have had tremendous service from Orlando Stroller Rentals.

Maclearn all the way. We bought a Quest before one of our trips it was great it does not recline as far as our Techno but still enough to rest. Both have storage baskets under and we bought a cupholder from the automotive part at Walmart (it is suppose to hook around the headreast in a car)for on the back so we would have cup holders.
I also bought a bike bag that is for under your bike seat and hooked it on the side in the front of the stroller to help keep it from tipping but still easy to fold the stroller.

I just looked into strollers for disney too and I ended up buying The first years stroller. They have a jet stroller for about $40 and an ignite stroller for about $55. Both are like umbrella strollers but taller and they have a storage basket and a top pocket for bottled water and a zipper area for cell phones, wallets, etc. I like that they close up like an umbrella stroller so they don't take up alot of space. So which is better for a taller child? The Volo or the Triumph? My son is 40" right now but we are headed to WDW next year so he could be 44" or more.

Is a taller kids head supported for napping? He has sat in some (not Maclaren) where his head is above the back of the seat so if he were to fall asleep his head roll back and not be supported.

They both have the same seat height from bum to top it is 18 inches which is fairly standard for the strollers. The recline on the triumph isnt very much at all and the volo is a sling style seat. The Volo is lighter b/c it doesn't have the framing for the seat and it has a bigger canopy than the triumph.
