I'm starting to look for a stroller to use on our WDW trip & a shorter family trip this summer to DC. I have a big stroller now that was part of my travel system (where the infant carrier snaps in) but, I don't think I'm going to like it on our trip. I don't like that the only way to keep her in it is a set of harness straps that go around her chest & between the legs.

I'm looking for something cheap (lets say less than $100), somewhat lightweight, one that reclines halfway at least for napping & we'd definitely like a space for some storage underneath.

Our DD will be 15 months old on our WDW trip in December if that makes any difference. I'd love to hear any suggestions - thanks!! :)

^^^ That's the Combi Savvy EX. Here's the description on their website: The lightweight Savvy EX stroller with the quick 3-Second Fold™, folds easily and compactly and is self-standing. An easily adjustable, reclining seat, footrest and 3-point harness make for a safe and comfortable environment for your child. The adjustable canopy includes a storage pocket. The carrying strap, storage basket, removable padded guardrail and removable child cup holder add convenience. Compatible with the Combi Shuttle infant car seat.

I'm not sure what the cost of this stroller is, but generally the lightweight Combis are somewhat reasonably priced. Check your local Babies "R" Us or Target Stores. Good luck finding that perfect stroller and enjoy your vacation!

If you can find one on clearance from last years model I would get a Maclaren Quest. It is super light weight and reclines. We have one. It is a $225 stroller but we bought the previous uses design and only paid $115 for it. We love it and that is what we are taking to Disney.

I have a Maclaren Triumph and I absolutely love it. It has been a great stroller and we have brought it to Disney a few times already. I'm also tall and I don't have to hunch over to push the stroller or kick the wheels when I walk. Happy Shopping.:)

Thanks for all the replies so far! :thumbsup2 Hubby & I are both short (5'4 & 5'5) so, we don't worry about the handles being too short....;) LOL I do think after looking a bit online last night that cupholders for both the adult pushing & the LO would come in handy, especially on a trip like WDW. :)

I bought a Peg Perego Aria for our last WDW trip and it was perfect. I will be using it again for our trip next month.

I second this. We have a Quest and we love it!! I'm pretty sure it goes to 50 or 55 pounds too, so it will last a while. I'm not sure that you'll get one for $100 though. I think we paid $139 for us a couple of years ago on albeebaby.com. They were having free shipping too. Good luck!!

We also love our Maclaren! It's very lightweight and it comes w/ a rain hood, which will come in handy while you are in Fl.

I bought a Comb Cosmo EX :
The lightweight Cosmo EX stroller with the quick 3-Second Fold™, folds easily and compactly and is self-standing. An easily adjustable, reclining seat with breathable air-mesh fabric, footrest, 5-point harness and infant safety boot make for a safe and comfortable environment for your child. The adjustable canopy includes a storage pocket, viewing window and designer lining. The carrying strap, storage basket, removable padded guardrail, removable child cup holder and removable and washable seat cushion add convenience. Compatible with the Shuttle infant car seat.
I think it weighs 11 lbs. We haven't used it in Disney yet, but I really like it. It folds easily, reclines, has a cup holder, a nice strap for carrying. I got it at babies r us for $99.

I third the Quest! It is a great investment because it does hold an older child so you will get your moneys worth! It reclines and is super easy and fast to fold too. We have the Volvo for our DD but she sneaks into DSs Quest and says it is more comfortable! A great stroller for Disney or anywhere:)

This is a little off topic maybe but here goes. The pink stroller IS super cute but I would hesitate before getting pink for any larger item like a stroller, high chair, car seat, etc. My first child was a girl and I went crazy with the pink. Now I have a boy and have several items I needed to rebuy b/c hand me downs were too "girly." Just my two cents. :)

I would try and get a Maclaren or Perego P3.

I bought a P3 from www.albeebaby.com, last year for my 4.5 yr old niece after looking for the best stroller for WDW. It was more than the $100, but you might find one on craigslist or ebay for less.

A lot of people like the Maclarens, I didn't think they were that much better than some of the other umbrella strollers. The Volo is out as it doesn't recline. I would have had to get a Quest to get all the features that the P3 has.

I would do the mac over the combi b/c it will last you much longer. I use a valco univeral cupholder on my mac techno, baby jogger city mini, and the peg aria twin that I have you could hook two on the the mac w/ no trouble at all and it will not be in the way of the fold. Another recommendation that I have is the Silver Cross Pop you can get them on ebay for less than 100 it is comparable to the mac. I have the silver cross dazzle as well which is essentially the same as the techno but IMO it is nice b/c it is not as tippy but the cheapest you can get a dazzle right now is about 150 and I am not sure if that will include shipping. I could go on and over whelm you w/ the amount of strollers available so I am going to stop. If you have questions let me know I am part of a strollerswap group on yahoo along w/ a few other ladies one here and we have lots of strollers and lots for sale most of which have been used a time or two. happy shopping

The Graco IPO :thumbsup2 Reclines fully for naps, but still folds up umbrella style.

I got a maclaren triumph off ebay for 90 dollars with free shipping which was half of the price I would have paid in the store. We bought two specifically for our upcoming june trip and have been loving them since we got them. I wish that I had oredered them a lonnng time ago. They do not have cup holders but you can attach one to the handle and it does recline. My girls love that they are a beautiful shade of coral pink and we get compliments on the everywhere we go. Good luck with your search, a good stroller is priceless!

I just purchased a Volo by Maclaren a couple of weeks ago for our trip in 15 DAYS!!!! I've used it a couple of times at the mall already, and love it. There are other colors available, but my son liked the lime green.

My DS is almost 50 pounds at 33 months old, so I had to spend a little more than what I would have liked, but this one folds easily (one hand!), has the underneath storage, and is a little taller than most umbrella strollers so you're not the Hunchback by the end of the day.

Good Luck in your stroller shopping!
