Best stroller for 2 kids (4/2) - buy or rent?

We’re planning a trip in late October and my girls will be 4.5 and almost 2. We have a stroller wagon currently but I know those aren’t allowed at Disney so I wanted to get a double stroller. I’m looking for recommendations on the best double and then whether it would be better to buy or rent? I like the idea of renting since we already have the wagon we use at home, but I hate the idea of getting through the airport without a stroller. I’d also rather have something that is comfortable, reclines, and is going to contain my monsters 😂😅

I thought stroller wagons weren't allowed either, but I saw some in the parks in March. We rented two strollers and picked them up at the resort. We rented two strollers to allow for flexibility. In the airport, we used a cart that the car seat attached to, then the 3 year old sat in the car seat. We used a baby carrier for the six month old.

We have a cheaper red double stroller for kids the same age and its awesome! It was from amazon - Kolcraft Cloud Plus Lightweight Double Stroller. Its done 2 disney trips so far and been great!

I love that this has snack trays! How’s the recline for the younger to take naps in? And then is it bulky for travel?

It folds up pretty easily! And our youngest was under one the first time we used it and he was happy w/ the recline for nap (and the sunshade comes down really far)

Ahh the sunshade was going to be my other question! Thank you so much - have this in my Amazon cart so I don’t forget it 😂👏🏻

I’m a big fan of Zoe strollers for Disney - big sun shades, cup holders for all, basket underneath and easy to fold quickly.

They have pretty good resale value too if you want to buy just to use for your trip.

Huge fan of the Joovy Ultralight Caboose sit and stand. It is about half as thick as other sit & stands when folded and only 5 inches longer than a single stroller (with tray) when in use. You could probably pick one up used on FB marketplace for around $80.

We always rent a double baby jogger citi mini stroller from Kingdom Strollers. I should have just bought one. I love it because of the recline, sun shade, easy maneuvering, and easy and quick fold. I think I’ve rented it four times from them. When my sister had her second that’s what I told her to get and she found a used one she loves. So I say look for a used double baby jogger citi mini and buy it as long as you aren’t going to fly on American Airlines to go to Disney (they’re the only airline with a 19 on weight limit for strollers).

I'm a fan of buying a used stroller. The cost is often similar to renting and you can sell afterwards. We did the Maclaren Twin Techno when my kids were around those ages and it worked great. I bought it for $100.

This is what we used for our two trips when the kids were younger... They were 5 and 2 the first trip and it was perfect. Lightweight and easy to fold, easy to maneuver in the crowds but also enough space for stuff and the kids.
