Best Steak

On Property our list would be:

1. Shulas
2. Jiko
3. Yachtsman
4. Flying fish

However, right now only #1 is open.

Technically not on property, but very close is Bull & Bear at the Waldorf Astoria. We rate this one far better than any of the others. Its also probably the most expensive.

We had really good steak at Le Cellier's and at California Girl. Expensive but top quality. I haven't really tried anywhere else as yet, which is probably a missed steak on my part.

I'm happy to see some people bring up Mama Melrose. For sure a big surprise for me. I've gone back and had it several times and it never disappoints.

My most over rated was Le Cellier. There was nothing that wrong with it, but it just wasn't that great.

I can't say it's the best, but I had the filet at Be Our Guest last week and it was fantastic. We had a very late reservation, 9 PM, and my friend described it as "fireworks for your mouth." The experience was excellent.

I loved the Be Our Guest steak as well. The clear best choice if you're going there.
