Best steak in Disneyworld?

I don't know what kind of steak you are looking for, but I have had some kind of a terriyaki beef at Kona Cafe 2 years in a row and it was wonderful!!! I am sorry I can't remember exactly what it was called but, I am going to go back for it again this year too. YUM!!!!!! I also had some beef at California Grill that was really good too.I think that was a filet mignon. Sorry, again, I can't remember the name of the dish ,but definately worth going back for.

Hi, this might sound a little funny, but the New York
Strip at the Flying Fish gets my vote! Funny that a fish place would have great steak, but this one is fabulous... we eat there almost everytime we go to WDW and have never been disappointed!

We ate at the Yachtsman at YC last trip and it was to die for.
The Filet Mignon was sooo good, plus the atmosphere is really great. Ask for a wine suggestion from the waiter.

I have to second the steaks at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. They were wonderful!

Le Cellier, by far. Though Narcossee's had a great filet. Contrary to the popular opinion, I did not like the steak at Flying Fish at all.

Spoodles has a great filet. We also had a good filet at California Grille, but the service was horrible.

1. Shula's
2. Yachtsman Steakhouse (I would say a distant second)
3. Jiko (I wouldn't consider this a typical steak dinner, but very good)

(but I have not been to Le Cellier and have not had the steak at Flying Fish or California Grill)

My DH and I only eat filets, here are our favorites
1. Yachtsmen's steak house
2. Schula's
3. Le Cellier

Definately Yachtsmans Steakhouse. We ate there 3 times on our last trip. The food is amazing, the atmosphere excellent (we liked to go sit on the rocking chairs outside thr YC after we had eaten) and I second the idea to ask for a wine suggetion, those guys know what they are talking about. I had the best wine ever there as well.

My first pick is Shula's. Great steak quality and the best service I've ever had. It can be done for a reasonable price if you keep in mind the portion sizes are HUGE. For DH and I we each picked a steak, split a side and shared a dessert. We walked away full and happy for what many pay to eat at Cal Grill or Artist Point. Both of those also have good steaks, as does Le Cellier, however I've found them to be less consistent. In fact the last time I went to Le Cellier is was down right bad - had a strange burned taste like maybe something cooked on the grill before it had gone too long? Since I ordered it medium rare it wasn't mine that was overcooked, just had a weird flavor.

I have to give a vote to the CG. We had the Filet in December and it was excellent. Ate a steak at LE Cellier also and although it was very good it was not up to the level of CG.

Cheers,

Schuey
