Best Steak and Burgers?

Hi all

Now that the September opening times have been released it won't be long until the October ones are available which means that it's time for the research for our Halloween trip to begin in earnest! My husband has made a couple of food requests; he wants to find the best burger and the best steak on property. Any suggestions?

Best steak IMO is at Yachtsman Steakhouse. It is a signature restaurant but you can see the steak being aged as you enter and if you are lucky you can watch the chef slicing it too. Its always full of flavour and tender - and I never had the sauce on it as the flavour is just so good on its own. The Kanas City Strip is my favourite off the current menu but I have had the New York Strip and Ribeye before all of which have been excellent!

Best Burger is probably Grand Floridian Cafe if you like a "fancy" burger otherwise Beaches & Cream

i dont think i had a steak or burger onsite , we have only heard good things about yachtsman but we didnt want to use 2 credits . Dh says his steak at mama melrose was his best one onsite

I second The Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Best steak is at the Swan/Dolphin but I can't recall what the place is called. I agree with the above for a one credit place the steak at Mama Melroses is surprisingly excellent. Served with grown up Mac and cheese to die for.

I think Yachtsman is overpriced and overrated.

Have to say went to beaches and cream twice last trip, and loved the place but the burger was really bland! Mind you same with most disney burgers.

The famous onion rings however are incredible!

The steakhouse at the dolphin is called shulas. It is an excellent place to get a steak, albeit pricey and quite dark. But we've had a lovely romantic meal there a couple of times, away from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

Have to call out the Yachtsman for their steaks - factor in a visit every trip and have never been let down in terms of quality.

Not sure that I have too many burgers to be honest as I tend to get steak when on holiday, but always try to knock up at least one 'Cheeseburger in Paradise' at Margaritaville each holiday - though perhaps that's more because of the boozy ambience!

Remember Shulas is not on the DDP - it does take Tables in Wonderland though. Good steak there but the sides are extra and it is very expensive. Flying Fish at the Boardwalk do an excellent steak also.

The Burger at Raglan Road is rather nice too.

Another vote for yachtsman had some fabulous meals there, also had a lovely steak in narcoosees in the grand Floridian which was a fantastic meal

We have never eaten at The Yachtsman. DH said the steak at The Rose and Crown was excellent, much better than Le Cellier.
