Best Standard View room at AKL

Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone can recommend a room number / building for AKL.
I haven't been before and am still up in the air about staying at either Kidani or Jambo. We can only afford a standard view and will probably request a lower floor.
Still... do you have a room number that gave any kind of decent view (I know Savannah has the good views but I read that some of the standards can have a decent view of the animals too).

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!!

If you're staying in a hotel room, then it's going to be Jambo. Kidani is all DVC and then Jambo has some DVC rooms.

IMHO I love both Jambo and Kidani.

I personally would just put in a request for 'partial savanna view please' if you are looking for an animal view and aren't picky about anything else regarding the locations (close to lobby, etc.)

Are you staying in a studio or something larger? If a studio, I would go with Jambo personally, but that's just my preference and it isn't an overwhelming one as both are fantastic resorts. If a one or two bedroom, Kidani without hesitation, as the layout is much nicer since they were built from scratch and not converted hotel rooms, and the extra bathroom is so nice!
