Going to be staying at PP in march 2013. What are the best room numbers to request when finalizing my reservations? (staying in a standard room)

I'll be there end of next week but in a theme park view. Would love any advice as well.......Thanks

I'm sure someone out there has some insight as to what rooms (standard) are better than others. How about a little help. Thanks in advance

don't know what particular rooms to request. They asked us when we stayed there in may if we wanted to be on the higher floors or lower. We chose the upper floor. We had booked a standard room but I wanted to see about the park view rooms so I asked the CM how much it would be to upgrade ( hoping they would just give us the upgrade). The CM said she would be right back and came back a few minutes later and set us up with a park view room on the 13 th floor.

In researching the PPH before our stay I read a lot of complaints about the elevators taking forever. The CM who checked us in gave us a tip that worked like a charm with the elevators. Always push the up button. far fewer guests are going up than down so it comes faster and is less crowded. We found if you only push the down button you can wait for a very long time and then have a full elevator show up when it does finally come. Anyway thought I would share that. And if you can get an upgrade to a park view room I highly recommend it. We had a terrific view of WOC and CL from our window. It was very fun to look out over DCA both day and night. I have had a lot more success getting upgrades at various hotels when I ask them how much it would cost me then I have straight up asking to be given an upgrade.

my advice would be to upgrade to a theme park view. It really is worth it at the Paradise Pier. We paid for a theme park view and asked for the highest floor possible. That is the best deal at Paradise Pier.

I know its not what you asked but I agree with this. Theme park view is...well...

Yes, I'm afraid the lack of response is connected to the fact that the consensus seems to be that part of the charm of PPH is the view. Without it, it just isn't the same. If I couldn't get a theme park view, I think I would just save my money and stay across the street.
