There's going to be 25 of us and we would like to meet in the same area....would the top deck be better. We don't care about being right ontop of everything...just would like to watch somewhat together. Since we are all boarding at different times we thought this would be a great way to meet up and do it together. What suggestions to you have....would love to hear them!!

When we were on the dream we watched the Sail Away party right in front of the aquaduck entrance. You got a great view of the stage

Thank you...I was actually wondering about the view from that spot!

We were on the Dream in November. We watched the Sail Away Party on Funnel Vision from deck 12 mid-way between the funnels on the starboard side. I'd rather have a good spot for the actual sail away than the show. All the restaurants/bars & Jetty Park are off the starboard side as you leave PC, so you can people watch/wave as you leave port.

From onboard the ship....:rotfl::rotfl:

It really stinks if you are on shore watching that beautiful ship sail away.

Honestly, we were on the floor over the pools and it was really hard to see the stage. We watched most of it on the big screen. I would suggest somewhere on Deck 12. That way you can see the show and watch the ship sail.

We were so involved with the show, I never even realized we had sailed out into the ocean.
:confused3 I really hate I missed that.

Last year on the Dream we watched from a table in the shade to the right of the pool/stage. It was SO hot so the adults took turns standing with the kids who wanted to be closer to the stage. Strangely, I don't remember it being to crazy crowded in that area.

Anywhere that has some shade is a great stop. :)

We're hoping to catch the sail-away party on deck and then dart to our room to watch the rest of the sail-away from our verandah. Will there be time or are we better off staying up on deck?

When we sailed on the dream we missed the party as I couldn't tear my boys away from the verandah as they loved waving to everyone! Is the party worth watching or is it best to people watch on the verandah?:dance3:

We watched the party from the Aquaduck entrance and when we left the port we went over to the railings and let our daughter wave to the people, you can do both.

The sail away party show ends as they sound the mickey horn. The ship is usually still in the turning basin getting positioned before heading toward the channel. After that it's just music and all the people who crowded deck 11 trying to get to deck 12 and get a spot on the rail.
