Best spot for HS fireworks?

Hello all,
Only 7 days left until I leave...woot woot! :woohoo:

Quick question about the HS fireworks. I don't think I will have time to stake out a spot, like 2 hours prior, so if I'm stuck near the back of the crowd, am I going to miss anything?

Is most of the action in the sky, or is there stuff near the ground that I would miss?

You could get a spot in front of SB castle for about 1 1/2 hours at the front around the Hub. The CM's didn't let any MHP ticket holders in front of SB castle until around 8:20 to 8:30 when the cavalcade parade went by. Yes, the special affects around the castle are amazing and a must not miss if you are going to see HS fireworks.

Don't forget the video sphere on the left side of the castle show different videos and don't forget about Zero who will fly in the sky.

Thanks Bret. Hopefully we can snag a good spot. So much pressure considering we paid seperate for this firework show ;)

So would you recommend sitting more to the left side of SC? I think I read that somewhere but can't find it, thanks.

I know when I went to DLR about 6 years ago, there were areas for people in wheelchairs/ECVs for the parade, but nothing for the fireworks at night. Anyone know if they'll still have designated areas for disabled?

I would. We sat slightly to the right of the Partners statue and wished we were on the other side of it. Last year was the first year for HS and it was shown every night so lots of people went to see it. It was a great show- so lots came back. THis year with it only being shown on the party nights , I shouldn't think that it will be so difficult to get a viewing spot. They also showed the projections on IASW last year so there is another location that might work well for you.

I think being able to see the sphere is more important then being to see the castle front. It is just over the left edge of the castle.

This clip was taken dead center in front of the castle:

If you are too far left you could be blocked by some of the trees that ring town square.

I don't know if you can see the sphere all the way down main street.
