Any ideas on where to go to see Wishes other than in MK?
I heard the Contemporary has a 4th fl. observation deck, is that true? I heard about the 11th fl but also heard it's for guests only.

Last time we were down, we had a PS @ California Grill, and watched the fireworks, it was great. Were seated, received our drinks and the fireworks began. Couldn't have asked for a better spot.
Mike :wave2:

ps. The food was great too.

Two weeks ago I saw wishes from O'hana. We got a table right at the window. It was great no crowds to deal with after the show.

Sue, what time was your PS for at O'Hana's? Did you have a window seat?

Yes, there is an obervation area on the 4th floor just off the main concourse past the gift shop on the left side.

There is also an observation deck on the 15th floor but last I heard they were only letting you out there if you were dining at California Grill. I don't know if they are still enforcing that.

My PS was for 6:20 we were seated within 5 minutes. When I checked in I asked if we could have a seat to see the fireworks. CM said this table is one of the best seats for fireworks. It was great.

Any one know if you can see any of the fireworks from the beach at the Polynesia Hotel? Also, do they still have the Electric Water Parade?

Yes, the EWP is going.

Narcoosee's is another good place to watch the fireworks. Either inside at a table or outside on the porch.

Also, if you really want to be off property, head north on CR535 and go just a little way (mile or so) You will have an incredible view of Wishes just to the left. Pull over and enjoy!

We saw them from the Poly beach. There's an area to the right of the beach (toward the TTC) that I've seen used for weddings. It has a small hill, and that would be a good place, if there's no private party there.

I'd read on these Boards a few months ago that there was no restrictions on guest using the observation decks on the 15th floor of the Contemporary, so we just walked off the elevator and turned left and went outside. The other observation deck is a tiny bit closer to the MK, but I figured we'd have to walk through the dining room and didn't want to be intrusive. None of the CMs seemed to be paying any attention to who came off the elevators.

Neither of these spots were 1/2 as good as watching Wishes from the end of Main Street, however. It's a fantastic show.

Their allowing you to go onto the observation deck on the 15th floor without eating at California grill changes with the seasons. If the restaurant is busy, they won't allow you out. During normal times, you can still get out there.

We have heard Citricos has a nice view also. We made a PS this year to try it out.

Thanks Sue - my PS is for 5:50 for six people so hopefully we will be wrapping dinner up as the fireworks are starting. I hope a large party like that can get a good table to see the fireworks. It sounds like seeing them from the Polynesian is wonderful with the new Wishes.

I've heard that the Magic Kingdom Specialty/Wishes Fireworks Cruises give you an awesome view. I hope to test this out on our last night. Maggie
