Best Souvenir?

I have a gold Cinderella Castle I wear on a necklace. Aftering lusting after it for a few trips, I finally let myself buy it last spring

Eleven years ago, my mom and I were in World of Disney. She pointed out a camera bag with some Mickey "parts" embroidered on it and asked if I liked it. I shrugged my shoulder and said it was cool, when in my head I could care less. Well, she bought that camera bag for me and surprised me outside of the store with it. I still could of cared less for the camera bag until a month later when it became like a purse to me. After a few trips that summer, me and the camera bag were inseparable. I still use that darn thing after all these years and it's been all over the country! I'm glad my mom bought it for me. :thumbsup2

Oh goodness, I buy many souvenirs while at Disney and all of which I love and adore. However, my favorite ones have to be the Thomas Kinkade paintings that my DH so lovingly buys for me. I have 4 of them right now (the Cinderella Castle, Snow White, Cinderella, and Bambi paintings), everyone, except for the Cinderella Castle, were bought at The Art of Disney shop in DTD. When it becomes available, he wants to buy me the Beauty and the Beast painting as well since that is my all time favorite Disney movie :goodvibes

My favorite is my "Mine" coffee cup. It's sitting in front of me right now. ;)

that is so cute!

My favorite is the Christmas ornament I bought two years ago with a picture of my daughter inside....i plan on buying one every trip!! I love seeing it during Christmas...reminds me of our trip!!!

PS-I thought the best place to buy an ornament was that Christmas store in DTD......not so! The HUGE Disney store in DTD had more of a selection when I was there in August!!!! This year's ornament came from there:goodvibes

On our last trip DBf propsed just as Wishes started on our last night, so after I'd finished crying (I know, I was hoping for George Clooney...:rotfl2:) we went into the jewellers on Main St and bought a gold Mickey ring-you should have seen the assistant leap to attention when I held up the third finger of my left hand:goodvibes
Its still the best thing I have ever bought back from the park (apart from DH2B of course, even if he's not George:lmao:) When we go in 64 days my engagement ring will have my mum's wedding ring to keep it company.:cloud9::hug:

For my 10th anniversary dh bought me an artisan watch from the watch shop at disneyland. I don't think they do them at the Magic Kingdom anymore, maybe DTD? Anyway, it was Valentine's Day (we bought it early, our anniversary is in June), and they had this adorable painting of Mickey kissing Minnie on the cheek, so I got that painted in monochrome pink with our wedding anniversary date on it. It was really cool seeing the crowd admiring it in the window when it was finished and hearing people talking about how adorable it is. :)

My second favorite is the monkey coconut windchime I bought in Adventureland at DL. It's on my back porch, and I think of Disney everytime the wind blows.

On our next trip I'm grabbing a Dooney and Burke Disney bag (I have one, but I want one from Disney) and a cuckoo clock at Germany. :) I think I will see about getting dh an Artisan Watch as well.

I think the best souvenir's I've bought or have been given have to be the custom watch I had made for my husband with Tigger on it. The process was really cool. You got to pick every part of the watch including the hand drawn character, the band, the color of the hardware, etc.....he loved it. You even got the actual drawn cartoon. My second favorite is a pair of diamond encrusted mickey mouse earrings my husband bought me. I put them on as soon as I know we are going back to the World and all through the vacation.

I also love my "mine mine mine" mug but I have the travel mug version and get asked all the time where I found that :)

Finisher's medals from the half and full marathons. By far my most prized Disney souvenirs (and when you consider the entry fee my most expensive).

OMG! I thought I was the only one!! Comparing that camera bag to the other ones sold in other stores, I'd pick the Disney one everytime! It's small enough not to be so bulky and has enough space for me to bring extra memory cards and batteries.
My other best souvenir has to be the monorail magnet. I just push a button and hear the phrases and I am instanly back in the World! I wish they still made that one!

June 2010 in Germany pavillion. A gift from the wife and kids for Fathers day. Hanging in my home office!!

I get an ornament every time we go. I try to choose one that signifies part of the reason we are there. For example, I have a wedding ring with bridal Minnie and groom Mickey for our honeymoon, an anniversary ornament from our annivers. etc. etc. I really love pulling them out of their boxes to put on the tree. I can't wait to get more to add to my collection.

DS Pins from first trip he was 4 and 2nd trip 7, DD Mugs that she gets each trip, our old Pop century refillable mug from 2004, my Donald Duck Mug from 2004 disintegrated this year :(.
My Red bag I got last year for the Christmas promotion and the throw.

And Of course each ornament that the kids choose per trip.
And No my house is not filled with WDW Stuff. pixiedust:
