Hi everyone,
My DH and I will be taking our first WDW trip this Jan. 7-14. We would like to get your opinion of the best and/or best deal souvenir shops in the area.

We will be buying for my 10 year old niece for her b-day.
Also, we'd like to get something for my 5 month old niece.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Allison

My favorites:

DTD: World of Disney
MK: Main Street shops
Epcot: Mousegear
Animal Kingdom: Island Mercantile
HS: no favorite

**Note that the World of Disney in DTD is very large. I could honestly spend 2-3 hours shopping in there. DD & I make it a point to go there by ourselves each trip as DH & DS11 can't stand to shop for long periods of time.

Another vote for World of Disney in DTD. Mickey's Emporium in MK and Mousegears in Epcot tie for 2nd place.:thumbsup2

Just a suggestion, get them some Ears with their names on them!! We did that for my niece and nephew, and they were so adorable on the baby, for the few seconds she had them on!

Where can you buy those that come in baby sizes???
Thanks!

We got ours at The Chapeau on Town Square in the Magic kingdom. Love going there just to look at all of the different ear possibilities. Just look at the sizes as they come in Infant, youth and adult. Hope this helps!!!

There is also a discount store at DTD, I can't remember what it is called, but we've gotten nice things there to bring back for friends and family and a much cheaper price. It's not far from the pin trading store and rainforest cafe. If anyone remembers the name, pls add it for me. We also love the christmas store, that is lovely, and the big disney store at DTD, it's so awesome!

the emporium is great in magic kingdom!

epcot hollywood studio and animal kingdom tend to only have stuff for that specific park.

i suggest world of disney in dd. it has literally everything from every gift shop in disney. it even had stuff from disney paris.

World of Disney Downtown Disney
Emporium at MK is nice too and smaller. World of Disney is HUGE and can be overwhelming. Be prepared.
The resorts have nice gift shops too as a rule

I think it was "$10 and under" or something like that. It had lots of cheep $1 items or stuff on closeout.

Yes, it's the "$10 and Under Store." Most of the stuff is just regular merchandise that is regularly priced at $10 and under. But sometimes they have markdowns, such as their 4 for $10 section. They also sell a grab bag for $7, which I've never purchased, but some people swear by.
Aso, I would strongly suggest you try the Disney Outlet stores. There are 2 official ones, and they often have excellent markdowns.

does anyone know if there is any other location to "make your own ears" besides the chapeau?

Hi,
I am a french student and i am in London for a whole year. I would like to buy some typical british souvenirs/gifts to my relatives but I guess there must be other stores much cheaper than the one around Marble Arch or Oxford street.
If you know places where i could find such things or other ones which worth it (low prices, original stuffs...) especially in east London, I would be delighted to hear about them!

Thanks in advance

Most of the stores in WDW sell the same items HOWEVER there are some items that are only local at certain parks. So if you see something you like either buy it there and have it sent back to your room if you are staying on site or ask if it is sold somewhere else. I have seen some things for my grandkids thinking all places sold the same thing only to have to make a quick run back to a park and look all over for it again. :)
