Best socks for boys

Title says it all...

DS will be starting 1st grade in the fall and I am looking for the best socks. I need something that can stand up to a rough and tumble boy. Something that wears and washes nicely.
Just needs to be white and crew cut. Hanes, Gymbo, I will take any suggestions.

He has been wearing Carter's but will outgrow them soon.

I have three boys, have bought what seems to be every sock imaginable. Those stand up to two of my three boys and hubby. I don't know what my oldest does to socks, but he kills them. Middle and youngest son are still wearing some socks that are about three years old. Still look good. Hubby has some that are about that age also, he doesn't wear his as often, they still look good also.

And they are still soft. Most socks after this amount of time wouldn't be this soft.

we just buy the hanes or fruit of the loom large packs and then if they wear out we just get more and they all match.

I have two boys and this works well
