Best SL and DLH rooms?

Hi All,

In less than 2 weeks my wife and I will be going to DLP for the first time after many visits to WDW in Orlando and DL in Anaheim. We're staying in both the the Sequoia Lodge and Disneyland Hotel, what's the best room location to ask for when we check into each? For background...we have no kids and plan on spending time relaxing at the pools when not in the parks or the city.
