I recently googled "sell textbooks" and it came up with a whole list. I had the best luck with Chegg.

of my college textbooks through Amazon Marketplace. I thought the fees were comparable to others and I would do it again when I have something else to sell!

I used Amazon and Chegg as well, mainly due to the fact that they both offer free shipping (or Chegg did when I was working on my Master's, been done for a few semesters now). Other companies that buy back books don't, and the $10-$20 bucks one spends at the post office/UPS/FedEx would have offset any higher prices I saw at other websites.

I would check Amazon's textbook buy back store. Their prices are pretty fair IMO esp since you don't have to deal with any buyers, the shipping is free and if there is something wrong and they don't want the book you send, they'll send it back to you for free too.

ETA~ Funny story with Amazon. I bought a book for $70 for a class I ended up not needing so I dropped the class and sold the book back to Amazon for $100. I wish that would happen with all my books! LOL

I, usually, get the best price for buyback from amazon. But then I comparison shop on either renting or buying the following semester. Since amazon pays you back in credit, sometimes it makes the most sense to buy from then again. However, since I can buy nearly anything from amazon, it's not a necessity.

I usually use amazon and barnes and noble; whichever offers a better price. Both have free shipping to them. I like bn.com better because they pay cash, not an amazon credit. I shop at amazon a ton, but I like the freedom of spending the money anywhere.

Half.com has always been good for me -- if you have an eBay account, you're already "in"!
