OK, so after you're filled to bursting from seven days of breakfast buffets, where is the best place to sit down and eat an order-it-off-a-menu breakfast?

Kona is good--but my favorite spot is Boatwrights. The "Blueprint Omlette" they have is mighty fine.. made to order with up to 11 different ingredients. Last time out I had mine with sausage, bacon, and 4 kinds of cheese.
Good service and good cofee too.

We loved Spoodles on the Boardwalk for breakfast last year. The atmosphere is nice and it is a good and quiet way to start out the day. The food is excellent (as well as the coffee). We fell in love with their breakfast pizza/flatbread. We ate so much there that there was no need for lunch. Except for a small snack or drink we went up to dinner without stopping to eat. We ended up eating there three times last June and can't wait to go back this June.

My family and I enjoy the breakfast at Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary which is next to Chef Mickey's. The food is very good, the service is friendly and it's reasonably priced. We go here a few times each vacation.

I agree with Uncleromulus about Boatwright's. However, my favorite selection is Henri's Hotcakes. Those are the best buttermilk pancakes I have ever had. We make sure that we go there for breakfast during each trip. :)

Another vote for Kona Cafe at the Poly. Try the tonga toast!

I like Whispering Canyon Cafe - It's pretty good - and I must say that the CAMPFIRE POTATOES are to DIE for!

Grand Floridian Cafe also very nice.

I sure miss the old breakfast at Tony's.

Boatwright's is very good.

And by the way.....does everyone hear that sound.
It's Uncleromulus' arteries hardening.
Hey, Uncleromulus, you sure you're not from Wisconsin?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Since we are staying at the Poly, it's good to hear so many good things about Kona Cafe. We will definitely eat there. We were so disappointed to discover Tony's doesn't do their breakfast anymore, so we're looking for an alternative. We're doing Spoodle's for dinner one night, sounds like it could be worth another trip for breakfast? We've thought about Whispering Canyon and the Concourse, glad to see both of them are getting votes, too. So many decisions, so much fun. Had never even heard of Boatwrights. Is that at one of the Boardwalk hotels? Anyway, thanks again for the responses. Hope I get more, so you guys can make up my mind for me. ;)

lucysdad - I believe Boatwright's is at Port Orleans/Riverside (still Dixie Landings to me).

We had a very good sit down breakfast at Spoodles last month. It was our first time there for breakfast and all 4 adults in our party were very impressed with the food and service.

KFISCHER:
No--not from Wisconsin. But would like to visit someday.
Had the 4 cheeses, mostly because that's all they had!! Six cheese omlette would have been even better!!
Now I'm hungry--
Wonder if I have any Wisconsin Cheddar in the fridge???

Count another vote for Boatwright's....AWESOME!!!

The omelet is as good as Uncleromulus describes, and the Crazy Cajun Banana Stuffed French Toast is even better! Now I'm drooling all over my keyboard. :)
