I was just wondering what was the best (single) table service character dining for dinner? I've been thinking of changing one of my ADRs, but I have never done character dining either is it worth it? It will just be DBF and myself we don't have any kids.

1900 Park Fare

The Crystal Palace

LibertyTree Tavern

Chef Mickey’s

I've eaten at Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare for dinner and while we enjoyed them both, if I had to choose, I'd go with 1900 PF, especially without the kids.

DH and I were supposed to go in Dec. (had to cancel because my DD10 has a gymnastics competiton there in Jan) and I had 2-3 character meals planned during the 5 day stay.

I've done both 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's. You'll get the Fab five at Chef Mickey's: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. At 1900 Park Fare you'll get a Princess Meal, very good food but its Cindy, her Prince and a few friends. There will be lots of little dolled up princesses there too.

My vote is for Chef Mickey's, ts a fun meal with noise, napkin waving, songs, monorail going by overhead, not a quiet dinner. However, the food, characters and people watching make it fun time. There will be lots of kids there, but I didn't see or hear any crying or whining. I think they are so stimulated and entertained they don't have time! We had breakfast and enjoyed our meal. We'll be back for dinner on ou next trip.
