I am so excited we received the code for free dining. Just so happened we already had reservations for the time so I called and they applied it to our upcoming trip. Because of the money we are saving dh and I decided we would pay for a few buffets oop and use the ddp to finally try a signature restaurant. So tell me which the best signature resteraunt is. We will be taking our children with us so it does have to be kid friendly.

If you like seafood, Flying Fish at the BW and Narcoosee's at the GF both have really good food. These places are probably the best for children because they are very casual for a Signature dining experience. Every time we have been at Narcoosee's there have been alot of kids. It can be a noisy place as well, so it is as good a place as any for a kid to have a meltdown.

We have also eaten at Jiko with a 10 year old. She loved the kid's steak and dessert. The feel is a little more upscale IMHO, so if your kids are rowdy you might be more comfortable elsewhere.

1) Bistro de Paris
2) Shula's
3) Il Mulino
4) Citricos
5) Of courese, V&A

There are a few really nice signatures but if could only pick one (considering its the first as well) - I'd have to go with Cali Grill.

The experience of seeing Wishes from the roof combined with fantastic food makes a nice evening and a defintate highlight of your WDW vacation.

I'd put Narcossee's next.

Other then V&A there are kids at any signature. We have taken our DD's (7&8) and they are fine. Bring some crayons and things to keep them engages and enjoy a nice meal.

If you plan on using you dining credits, only Citricos is on the DDP of the restaurants in this list.

Using DDP credits I'd go with Narcoosee, California Grill, or Flying Fish.

Our favorite is Yachtman's Steakhouse at the Yachtclub resort. The food was incredible & the service was excellent as well. It has a great atmosphere & we would love to go back again next time we are at Disney.:thumbsup2

All are very good, but my favorites are California Grill and Flying Fish.

My top 3 are Jiko, Bistro de Paris, & Citricos (in that order.) It's been ages since I ate at V&A, so I can't comment on that one anymore.

Bistro isn't on the DP though. With kids, I'd personally pick Jiko, do an earlier reservation (unless you're talking 12+ kids) and see the animals over at AKL.

My favorite is Jiko at the AKL by far!!! It is delicious and a beautiful setting. It is one of the quieter restaurants I have been to at Disney and although there are children there, it is a bit less kid friendly than some. If yours are used to fine restaurants and can be entertained for a few hours, they will be fine.

In my opinion, Narcoossee's is the best signature restaurant on property. I also enjoy Jiko.

We took our daughter who's 7 to Calif Grill and Narcoossee's - we loved both but Narcoossee's was all of our favorites.

Flying Fish is my favorite of Disney's signatures but with small children, I'd probably pick California Grill because I think they'd enjoy the views.

Agreed California Grill is amazing! Do you both like sushi? We had some of the best sushi there - along with many other great entree's.

Cali grill is by far our absolute favorite. We took our son with us when he was 4 and we'll be returning this Oct when he's 6.
