Best shoes for parks

Ok, so I am now obsessed w/ finding the perfect shoe to wear to WDW. I need suggestions please. I found a pair of Merrels that I LOVE, but they are kids, and about 1/2 size too small. I wear an 8.5, but the kids 6 almost fit. I need help!! I have a hard time finding shoes I LOVE that are comfortable and have enough support/cushion. Any ideas?

I love merrels, too. It's all I wear because they are comfy and waterproof. Have you tried Galyans (I think they are Dick's Sporting Goods now), or REI? Bob Wards also has them.

I have three pair, an ankle support hiking boot for serious hiking, the slip ons that I wear everywhere, and the hiking tennis shoes. They tend to run a bit small, I've noticed so I usually have to size up.
