In Oct, it will just be my husband and I (as opposed to having our 4 adult kids with us) so we ordered the REAS. I already have my Palo reservation, but plan to call a few days ahead and request Jean. I hope I'm able to get him.....although it sounds like all the Palo waiters are nothing less than superb. LOL! Oh that's SO funny! After dinner at Palo's, we raved and raved about Florencia, and how wonderful she was, and Jean kept telling us he was jealous! Then on the last night, I made a point of stopping by for a goodbye hug from Florencia, and to exchance email addresses, and she told me that Jean told her to stay away from "his families", because she was stealing us from him! *snickers*

I guess I just lucked out - to this day, if you ask the kids what one of the best parts of the cruise was, they would say "Jean and David" - there were tears the last night, and my daughter is stuck forever with Jean's nickname for her, "Lizzie Maguire" (with brown hair)...

All these people who do so much work for us to create such amazing memories - they're simply amazing.

Do any recent cruisers know if Sasha from Croatia or Adina from Romania are on board? They were fabulous on our 11/03 cruise and we were hoping to see them again. Last I heard Adina went to Palo and Sasha left for his vacation during the summer.

We've got 7 weeks to go. Hope we find them!

We had Fitz and Raj on an October 2003, Eastern Cruise. They were both outstanding. Raj was great with magic tricks for the kids and Fitz was always ready to please. His laugh was infectious. They both made the dining experience outstanding.

We had the best servers of all times. Catalin and Adrianne. They were the best. They always had us laughing and we were always the last ones out of the dinning room.

This past July, we had Sachin from India and Peter from Belgium. They were both great and really made us feel like we were their only guests!!

I aslo want to add that Edson that served pizza by the pool was a favorite of our teen DSs!!

We had him for the LAP rotation, but that was two years ago. I don't think they stick to the same one all the time.

Bad news guys!!! Jean from France has left Disney apparently for ever. We were on the Magic in March and he informed us that he was on his last ship, at least with Disney. I was under the impression that he was going to do some restaurant work possibly in the central United States. We had Ivana from Croatia and Gede from Fiji as our servers. Our favorite was Adina(also Croatia) who served us in Palo. She had a Knack for making you at ease. Every time you would ask a question or look in need, she would say "Please?".. She also would bring extra entrees to us as well as appetizers so as to overwhelm us and it worked.

Karen....I totally agree about Edson!!! He is the best...always smiling and looking genuinely happy to serve you pizza!!!

He took great care of us last year, never had the excellent speech, and he is truly concerned about your dining experience.

Sasha is at Palo's on the Magic, and we LOVED him! He was our brunch server, and when we went back for dnner, we asked for him again.

His wife is expecting twins, though, so he'll be on vacation again in March 2005, I think. I'm not sure if he'll be back afterwards.

We were just on the 10/9 cruise and we also had Sasha for Brunch and requested him for dinner- he is wonderful.... He thought he would be taking off in Feb before his wife is due and then was going to see how things went with the wife home alone with 3 little ones before he returned.

We had them on our Western Cruise in May 2003 and hoping to
get them on our next cruise May 2005
Juliano was awesome or should I say "excellent"

How about Praveen from India as a room attendent he did the best towel animals. He was so friendly and really loved the kids.
